Welcome to the Second Preliminary Final for SFA Season 23, between the Dragons FFC and the Baghdad Bombers. This contest is scheduled for one round (unless the simmer has his Star Wars head on and mis-spells Vanders again), with the winner to progress to the Grand Final to play either the Las Vegas Bears or the Fighting Furies.

HOW THIS CAME TO BE
The Dragons, coming off the disappointment of losing the S22 Grand Final, bounced back to finish 2nd on the ladder at the end of the H&A season with a 9/6/2 record. They defeated the Las Vegas Bears at home in the Qualifying Final to avenge their Grand Final defeat, and are rested and raring to go in the penultimate game of S23.
The Baghdad Bombers finished 8th with an 8/8/1 record, and dumped the Roys in the Elimination Final, before disposing of the Swamprats in the Semi Final.
THIS SEASON
Round 7: Dragons 10.16(76) DREW Bombers 11.10(76) at Dragon Island
An exciting draw, as Hatchy1992 booted the last 2 goals of the game , and the Dragons were saved by an early siren. Best were cammo6556 and Blaze Storm for the Dragons, and PhenomenalV1 and TheCoach16 for the Bombers. Hatchy1992 ended up with 6.5
Round 13: Dragons 9.10(64) d Bombers 8.10(58) at Abdu Prison
The Dragons led by 23 points at quarter time, but were slowly pegged back by the bombers , who finally drew level halfway through the final term. However, goals to Hate and Ljp86 sealed the win for the visitors. Hate and WFL led the Dragons in the wet, while KohPhi and miggs were best for the vanquished.
