Rick18
Nominated Player: Rick18
Career Stats: 147 games, 152 goals, 1879 disposals (13 avg)
Achievements and Accolades/Major Contributions to the league: Wonders Captain, early media activist, positive spokesperson for the league,

Rick was a previous captain of the Wonders that pioneered the modern game. In Season 9, he was the Frankston Rover Medallist during Kerrby's reign and it was thus decided he take over from such an evil dictatorship. He captained for two seasons before handing it over to Croweater 41.
He was a loveable character and one that not many could say a bad word about.

Rick18 played 147 games for the Wonders. He amassed 1879 disposals and 152 goals during that time. He captained the Wonders for 2 seasons and bowed out gracefully when it was time to hand over the reigns to croweater 41.

Rick was the third inductee to the Wonders Hall of Fame back in Season 18 and is a 3-time All-SFA member. He is a 2-time premiership player and a well deserved nominee for this season's Hall of Fame.

If the Hall of Fame is supposed to focus on the players of yesteryear that made the game what it is today or who achieved great status in the league, then Rick18 is a deserved candidate for that.

I'm sure opposition players such as Mobbs boncer34 Ljp86 would all have good memories of Rick. And while he never played 150 games, he was most certainly a player lost to the league too soon. Having met Rick a few times in personal life as our work would cross paths, we would often chat about the good old days at the Wonders... a good, good man.

In addition, Tarkyn_24, Biggie, BallaratBulldog, Eth would all also have positive things to say about Rick as a candidate for Hall of Fame.

A good example of quality instead of sheer amount like some people in todays league. Was a very clever poster and a great leader setting a standard for a league in a time when it was still being built.

So what you're saying is that I should probably play three more games?

You don't HAVE to but no reason why we can't have you return for the might Wonders for a little bit ;)?
