Removing PMBangers from the admin race would be unnecessary and unfair. Pointing and laughing at him is more than enough.Banning Bangers from the Admin race would punish those enjoying the absurdist entertainment.

So what's the go, have they thrown the book at the Royals yet?
NaturalDisaster the Royals have decided to accept the punishment of suspending our captain for a full season instead of the 2 premiership point deduction
Update:
The Royals elected to appeal and it went to a committee a vote. It was a near unanimous decision to uphold the charge. Therefore, the week suspension on PMBangers will remain as will the 2 point penalty deducation.

I was led to believe that the rules are not 'law' in Sweet-FA and just a guideline from what happened with the Bombers. So in that sense precendent cases don't have any affect. They are all judged on a case-by-case basis and cannot be compared to anything previously voted on by the committee.I’d be interested to see the rationale here after the precedent set by the Bombers not losing points.

Yes ban Bangers for the season but ffs the 2 points must be squashed. Are you saying we hired a dud lawyer? Bangers strike 2.
IMO all points penalties should have been thrown out of the rules with the first time a team was deemed not responsible and not expected to lose points. There’s no discernible difference between the two in that regard.
Of course we all know the committee needed two shots to get that one right too.

It was a good opportunity for a committee stand. It was a one person error and by error I mean innocent accident. Another club will miss finals through this and could have prevented that now.
It's a ridiculous punishment imo.It was a good opportunity for a committee stand. It was a one person error and by error I mean innocent accident. Another club will miss finals through this and could have prevented that now.
It's really just a punishment for incompetence. Not for the crime. And i'm all for it.and there was not one person in the 7 person LG who did not notice no teamsheet by 9:30-10 and posted something in the LG PM?
You would be.It's really just a punishment for incompetence. Not for the crime. And i'm all for it.
once again bat, i'm really not sure what you mean by that. If a 7 man LG can't pick up on a basic error they deserve to be punished. You would be.
A precedent has already been set this season, how is this any different to the Bombers error? Ban the Skipper/Skippers but be ****ed if the whole team should suffer. This decision lacks common sense.once again bat, i'm really not sure what you mean by that. If a 7 man LG can't pick up on a basic error they deserve to be punished.
Filth, you know I love you but the only reason you're crying foul is because its your team. Everyone knows the drill as far as deadlines go.It was a good opportunity for a committee stand. 4A) Submission Rules - Teams need to be submitted by the time specified in the OP. If no time is specified in the OP, it can be assumed that the deadline for submission is the Thursday 11:59 PM Melbourne Time before a match. Teams must contain 20 eligible players, be submitted by the deadline and state "Official Team Sheet" in the same post. Teams must note positional changes from the previous round, including where the player played last round and where they are playing this round. Failure to submit a team sheet in the correct format (20 eligible players, positional changes, correct spelling of every name within the whole team sheet and "official team sheet" in same post), or AT ALL will result in one of the following punishments based on the appropriate grading:
High Impact (results in an instant four point penalty):
Failure to submit a complete team sheet by the deadline.
What Baz just said. There's a rule, it was broken, there's a punishment.A precedent has already been set this season, how is this any different to the Bombers error? Ban the Skipper/Skippers but be f’ed if the whole team should suffer. This decision lacks common sense.
