I'd like a little more detail on this. So the admin has allowed ineligible players, play and then let that team win by 10 goals. Sounds like justice to me. Chipmunk should be absolutely fuming right now. I expect that the bombers will be doing a LOT of recruiting this week to field a fully ELIGIBLE team against the Wonders this week.

I don’t think it’s in dispute that the team was ineligible and the Admin has allowed the team to play against us last week through some sort of executive power Michael Masi-style. The only power we have as a team is to ask for an override and get a committee vote as it’s not eligible for a resim.

I felt its far better for the league for the Bombers to sort themselves out rather than be overly defensive about the result of a qooty game.

If they don’t get a team against the Wonders, I consider the Admin agreement to be null and void and there is scope for retrospective changes to our result. I’ll see what happens later in the week though.

Thought experiment:

It's Season 28, Ant Bear is the administrator, a club has a massive number of site suspensions resulting in their list having less than 20 eligible players and being in contravention of 6A "The following list of offences will result in a 2 point deduction in league standings, and 1 game suspension for a team’s listed captain(s):

• Failing to satisfy the minimum team list requirement in season (20 eligible players) as per 4A"

Instead of enforcing such a rule Ant Bear privately agrees with that club's leaders to allow them to play ineligible players for a week and serve all their suspensions across two weeks with no input from the committee.

Wonder what kind of response from the broader league AB would receive in such a hypothetical.
