The people in committee should be people who are passionate about the game, passionate about the rules, passionate about upholding what’s best for their club too. It doesn’t have to be a captain, it can be anyone who enjoys debate, discussion, will give it a crack...someone who’s there as a genuine representative, not just parked in there for the sake of it.

Look to your club and put someone in who want’s to be in there for the right reasons and for the long haul too, the revolving door of committee last season was a farce…people in and out in and out in and out There’s no stabilty or sense in that, I know shit happens but look to your team for someone who wants to commit and treat it and your club with the respect it deserves.
The committee is the engine room that decides the direction we go in any given season, it‘s important.
It’s also fun when people get fired up and debate, and that’s what it should be! But always with the betterment of the League in mind too, there’s a big difference between sensible debate and back and forth shitfights which achieve nothing.

I personally don’t want to see anymore erosion of the rules and penalties, sure if something is genuinely unfair or completely outdated review it, here and in committee, it’s all banter. Trolling and throwing rocks at people who mess up their sheets and squads was always a big part of the fun here, it generated genuine qooty based banter and media. It also kept LG‘s on their toes and generally just adds a layer and many delicious melts to the game.
But we always had a beer afterwards (ok maybe not always)

IMO that’s the crap we should be bantering and ‘fighting’ about.

Wow. Admin sets the rules for the season, completely ignores them when it involves their club. Once again a complete and total abuse of power. Sighting a ruling that was adjudicated incorrectly in the first place, one that saw a sec 3D - abuse of powers charge against the admin at the time which only fell through because the committee at the time were lazy. This again raises the question of a 3D charge but considering the lazy prescient already set by committee I'm sure it'll be swept under the carpet.

Do you recall how you voted on that particular case Moz? The result may surprise you.
