CAPTAINS ONLY to post in this thread. As per previous seasons, anyone posting anything other than a squad, signing or delisting will be quartered BEFORE being hung and drawn.
Simply post your team's full squad in the below format, by 11.59pm Saturday 21st January, 2023 AEDT. After that date, announce any signings or delistings in this thread. Any questions, please bring them up in committee or via PM to myself.
Please submit your squads in the following format:
- The traditional numbered list, with each player's guernsey number, the name that they will be entered into the sim for throughout Season 34 and their status if applicable (eg C, LG, R). At the bottom of this list, please specify all incoming and outgoing players from the previous season Squad. Please specify whether leaving players moved clubs or retired/delisted.
I repeat, this is NOT a thread for discussion on squads or signings, this is a thread for official use by CAPTAINS ONLY.

Good to see the Gumbies get off.Alrighty ya bunch of mongrels. See below. If you dislike this result, feel free to melt below.
The Sin City Swamprats and East Side Phoenix charges will stand with the appeal having been struck down by votes of 3-8 and 4-7 respectively. Philreich and Thewizardmelon or Por_please_ya will be given a 1-game suspension and both clubs will be on Strike 1 with 3 strikes equating to a 2-point penalty.
The Gumbies FFC appeal has resulted in a vote tied at 6-6 which means the Administrator will cast the deciding vote. In a surprise to nobody, I have decided that the Gumbies FFC charge will be Dismissed. If we are to expect perfect adherence to the rules by the letter of the law from captains then it stands to reason that there needs to be perfect clarity within the rules. Falconista in his appeal has managed to successfully find a gap in the language of the rules which will require an amendment to clarify the specific time zone in the squad submission thread. Technicality or not, the case is still logically valid and the fact that half of the committee is convinced means that the case in on strong enough standing to be a successful challenge.
Squad Submission OP has been updated to include the time zone.
But what about the EM-DASH and EN-DASH debacle!!!???Alrighty ya bunch of mongrels. See below. If you dislike this result, feel free to melt below.

I wonders who it wasI want to know which genius voted against the Rats but in favour of the Hawks’ appeal.
Which club captain was it?
The f*ckwit obviously has s**t for brains and is making a mockery of their role on the committee - one of very few things that are actually meant to be serious so the league is run properly - not a joke.
I respect differences of opinion, but you’re either a yes or a no to both. Not picking and choosing based on the team or personality.

Go one better and enshrine Vic Bias in the rules for all deadlines in perpetuity.a gap in the language of the rules which will require an amendment to clarify the specific time zone in the squad submission thread.
Had a pretty cheesy excuse from memory tooI want to know which genius voted against the Rats but in favour of the Hawks’ appeal.

I know you’re the self appointed grammar nazi, but in my world, the Gumbies’ errors were egregious and warranted a penalty as they have the potential to interfere with the running of the league. The grammar issues (colons and commas) deserve warnings, but not captain bans for a first offence as they were inconsequential.Ludicrous that the Gumbies' appeal was upheld.
To not fulfill one of the most basic requirements of the game in a timely manner says something about the team.
That the Club is not starting with a four (4) point penalty is grossly disappointing.
I don't know if you're new or not, but damicky doesn't really have any clout around here.I know you’re the self appointed grammar nazi, but in my world, the Gumbies’ errors were egregious and warranted a penalty as they have the potential to interfere with the running of the league. But most staggeringly, for the Wonders’ damicky to vote inconsistently on the Rats and Hawks breaches, which were essentially the same…it needs an explanation. His position in the committee it now untenable.

He just rambles incoherently in an attempt to justify objectively false musings.
Best if you just pat him on his head and let him be.
