It is Captaincy and Committee experience that counts here. thewizardmelon has one season experience and por_please_ya and Falconista had zero before Round 1.

By contrast, philreich is up with Methuselah on Captaincy and Committee experience. Maybe that explains why he slept through the Committee’s decisions and in the drafting of the Smarmies’ team sheet.

4 days isn’t enough to get a team sheet in?
The reason we have the deadline is to give simmers and posters time to input changes, sim the games and organise who’s available to post them. All games are also checked and approved before posting. Being as everyone has a life on weekends it’s fair to give the simming group plenty of time to get it done. Sometimes last minute s**t happens and some swapping and changing has to be done.

Thats why deadline is Thurs 11:59pm (Vic Bias time)

Make it 3am Friday.

In saying that I’m a bit torn about the Gumbies one, for sure Falconista knew when deadline is, but technically the AEDT wasn’t there so loophole and fair grounds for appeal
I reckon captains should just wear these but appeals are there so you can’t blame them for using them.

Our friends the Baghdad Bombers may have ‘unintentionally’ breached the rules governing the in-season recruitment of new and returning players. BLUEALLTHRU seems to have shot off changes to the Bombers’ Squad ahead of stitching up a deal with the Rookie,kenneyswarriors . Mr K Warriors was recorded as a Bomber in a Squad change on Monday but delisted on Wednesday.

It seems Tigerturbulance and his OOBs are using the right process and kudos to them. Best of luck to Kenny as he commences what is hopefully an illustrious career in the SweetFA.

The rule is certainly a bit wobbly regarding the new player's team choice after the peacocking process - especially if done in PMs. Given the player hasn't complained publicly it would be hard to convict though.

The 24 hour period rule can be waived, only if the team does not have enough eligible players to fill the team and less than 24 hours remains until the teamsheet deadline.

Thanks for that. For me it is clear the player in question was still negotiating and for whatever reason BLUEALLTHRU posted on Monday without seeking clarification. Hard to prove, no doubt. It will be interesting to watch how Kennedy Parker handles this.
