It would have been hilarious if The Foolback returned to post your Squad
That would have been random to say the least

Yes because Falconista is a representative of the Gumbies.

In the absence of the captain the vice-captain is the captain, in the absence of the vice-captain, the deputy vice-captain is the captain and the deputy vice-captain is the rest of the Gumbies LG in equal parts.

I enforce the rules as they are written which is generally a more effective approach than making shit up on the spot like you ND.

Aren’t the rules written that clubs need 22 active posters that aren’t alias?

What about The Foolback

Based off the official advice from the Bigfooty Site Moderation The Foolback is not an alias. I'm going to base decisions off that premise.

If people wish to speculate otherwise then that's their prerogative.

But is he “active” considering he’s been away from BigFooty for a longer period of time than between creation of the account & their last log-in.

Why don’t you just read the rules?

I did, it states “active” posters.

How active is an account that hasn’t been signed in on since September?

It states “active BigFooty accounts”. But sure, nice try there Senor M trying to pick and choose words from the Rules.

How is someone who signed up for 2 months, posted almost exclusively in the SFA and then pissed off for the last 6 months an “active” account.

It clearly looks like someone’s alt & been given up on.

No one signs up to BigFooty for JUST the SFA.

Never had a friend?

I’m not arguing in that they’re inactive, but their account is an active account. Separate the two and you’ll understand the rules as they are written.

I’m a major critic of teams who keep inactive posters on their lists and have both called out and made many media threads in the past on said topic.

But you don’t understand the rules so I’m just asking you to read them.

We don't really have a solid definition of 'active' in the rules other than a BF account that is not cancelled or permanently banned.

Suggestions of 'sunsetting' some inactive accounts that have not logged in for a long time have been mentioned but it's not really progressed to the point of officially discussing it in the committee.

If such a rule were to be introduced the period would have to be at least a year given every single club holds some inactive players on their list and some clubs like to have honorary list spots for their legends so they may want carve outs for that as well.

I think it’s something that should be looked at by the committee, especially for accounts that’s legitimacy appears suspicious.

But there’s a big difference between holding onto a club legend who might only post once a season & someone who signed up to BigFooty, “found” the SFA in their first week, posted almost exclusively in this sub-forum and then disappeared after 8 weeks.

If The Foolback was a Bear, I would have advocated for him to be delisted.

That’s cool. Maybe you should check your facts?

What “facts” am I missing?

It was a new account created only weeks before S34, over 80% of the posts for their account were in the Sweet sub-forum and then they disappeared only a few weeks after the season started, to never sign back in.

That is suspicious in my opinion— even if The Jesus accused the wrong person, I still think that The Foolback is suss.
