Ah the 'Statute of Limitations', another one of my brilliant deregulatory innovations.

6E) Notification

If players or teams wish to dispute raised penalties, they may submit appeals by post in this thread, by private message, or by committee representative to the league administration which describes mitigating evidence within 24 hours of being notified of the penalty by the administration.

The administration will make subsequent posts confirming either or all of:

• the acceptance of a penalty
• that an appeal has been made per 6D, and the origin of the appeal
• the result of any appeal, and the applied penalty

The statute of limitations for raising a penalty is 1 week from the team sheet submission deadline. This means that if a team cannot be 'retrospectively' penalised for a violation that occurred more than 1 week prior, for which they were never given a notification for.

I think it more likely that he'd be calling for execution before the expulsion. Any fair minded person would.

I don't think there would be penalty for the team that recruited him but common sense would be to strip the award and retrospectively award it to the next deserving recipient.

Banned aliases have won premierships before so sometimes the SFA history is littered with 'shit happens' moments.

I think there should be an investigation into “Bringing the game into disrepute” charges in this situation.

Especially if it’s found out that Nixi was only created/signed after the OOB’s initially approached Nooks.

How do we know it wasn’t a deliberate plan for Nooks to support the Furies while still moving to his new club

Unfortunately, common sense has never been too common amongst people but when interpreting any rules/laws it's what's needed more than pointing to rules and asking where something is specifically mentioned.

Maybe it was but how is that the responsibility of the OOBs? When does it just become the responsibility of the person themselves? Nooks stuffed up unfortunately and he's paid the penalty for that.

There’s plenty of situations where a club is impacted by the actions of an individual.

There’s plenty of situations where a club is impacted by the actions of an individual.

I understand that but in this case, unless you can prove that either team had knowledge of the actual situation I don't see that you can hold them responsible for the player's actions. The examples you gave are administrative failings, this is different in nature.
