Losing players due to bans isn’t an administrative failure. If you’ve been in the league for longer than a few moments you’d understand this (considering your teams history with bans).

Both the clubs in question had issues with acquiring 22 players by the submission deadline. Even if they DID know about the alias saga, why would they out themselves at the risk of having their club be punished.

Pretty sure that they would have been able to find somebody even from another team who would have helped them out in the short term, at least you would hope they could. I agree though that having numbers that are close to the minimum is a risky thing.

There's no risk mate, we have a couple of players we can bring in if we want, how someone from another club thinks he knows the inner workings of another club is beyond me.

I think there should be an investigation into “Bringing the game into disrepute” charges in this situation.

Especially if it’s found out that Nixi was only created/signed after the OOB’s initially approached Nooks.

How do we know it wasn’t a deliberate plan for Nooks to support the Furies while still moving to his new club

Creating a new account while you’re in Banhammer is a BigFooty offence, not a Sweet offence.

If your club couldn’t put two & two together from day 1 you rightly deserve to be punished for bringing the league into disrepute.

If a Bears player got suspended & then suddenly new a brand new account that wanted to join Sweet at the same time at the reccomendation of said suspended player I’d be suss as f***

Quite clear you don't know a whole lot about the situation mate, we had reasons at the time not to suspect it as we had spoken to the nixi person as well as Nooks himself.

We didn't just sign any random account with no communication.

Nooks iirc talked a fair bit in PM's and other group chats, it's not like we got the impression of "Yeah nah he must be making this to talk to people on bigfooty even though he has 2 days left on the ban."

This is more than "Person made a fake person", we had talked to Nixi who IS a real person, the thing that is being disputed is whether he ever was the one controlling the bigfooty account (contacted him via discord etc)

Who out of Bastyy & tugga would have willingly sat on the Furies list for another season. Both seemed liked retirements rather than delistings.

I completely get where you are coming from, but both clubs were playing with fire being that close to the minimum squad numbers

Bastyy has been sitting on the furies list retired for a few season up to the end of S34. I have no doubt he'd have done the same thing this season had it been required. Hell, if it got to a point they couldn't neet the minimum, I'd have happily stayed to help out if needed.

A lot of posters have a soft spot for the Furies.

I know if it got to the point where they could potentially fold due to lack of numbers I would have joined to prevent it happening.

It was pretty clear that he checked out in S34 after the Trio were banned, thus why he’s now retired.

It’s clear that the Furies were in trouble during S34, it’s why you went there & it’s why it signed up a brand new poster with no BigFooty history.

That makes no difference. He would have hung around If needed, as would I and by the looks of it other posters would have rallied rogether if required to help them out. The Furies would have met the minimum list requirements one way or another. They have nothing to apologise for, that's like apologising because you got scammed.
