The below describes actions to take in multiple scenarios.

1. ~~ If Fumbler reposts the form in the sign-up thread at least 24-hours prior to the next team sheet deadline (Wednesday, 11:59pm AWST):
All actions necessary to sign a player via in-season free agency have been completed as at the team sheet deadline and fumbler is all clear to be named:

• free agent fills in sign-up form in the designated sign-up thread with OOB listed as preferred team
• 24-hours elapse to allow for clubs to bid for the free agent's services
• player has been added to the official squad list of the club
• the addition has been noted in the INs description of the squad list
• the change has been noted in a subsequent post in the squad submission thread

No further action is required.



2. ~~ If Fumbler reposts the form in the sign-up thread less than 24-hours prior to the next team sheet deadline (between Wednesday, 11:59pm AWST and Thursday, 11:59pm AWST):

All actions necessary to sign a player via in-season free agency have been completed as at the team sheet deadline with the EXCEPTION of the 24-hours to elapse before listing of the free agent:

• free agent fills in sign-up form in the designated sign-up thread with OOB listed as preferred team
• 24-hours elapse to allow for clubs to bid for the free agent's services
• player has been added to the official squad list of the club
• the addition has been noted in the INs description of the squad list
• the change has been noted in a subsequent post in the squad submission thread

You currently have 22 signed players on your list with 20 eligible players (Tigerturbulance and Bonz ineligible) for Round 2.

IF another OOB player is deemed ineligible prior to the Round 2 team sheet deadline then 4D has a clause that allows for the 24-hour rule to be waived.



4D) Free Agency

In-Season

After the squad submission deadline, listed players are contracted to their club. However, any players that were delisted by the club's voluntary action during the season (that were on the original squad) can be signed as a delisted free agent by any other club (including the original club).

The player must enter the team sign up thread and the same process applies as if they were a new or returning player to the Sweet FA.

Once a player has moved clubs within the season through In-Season Free Agency, they may not move clubs again until the following season through any means.

New/Returning Players

The official process for signing players during the season under the new/returning category is that a player who posts an intention to join the league, by posting in the signup thread during a season, will be required to complete the Application form as below:

However, if this specific exception does not apply...

3. ~~ Any other scenario, other than what is described in (1) or the specific exception highlighted in (2).

Corrective Actions Needed by the OOB prior to the Round 2 Team Sheet Deadline:

1. Remove fumbler from the official squad list ---> This is because he never posted a sign-up form as an eligible free agent so the error to add him must be reversed.
2. Remove fumbler as a listed IN in the description below the squad list. ---> Given he was not on the final squad list of the previous season and also not correctly signed either as an Off-Season Free Agent or an In-Season Free Agent under 4D the action to note him as an IN must be reversed.

Note: This situation is different from a case where a player is signed during the season correctly and then delisted later in the same season. In such a case, that player will need to be included in BOTH the INs and OUTs line to describe both transactions that have occurred during the season.

3. Make a post in the Squad Submission thread noting the actioning of step 1 and 2 because a change has been required here, you may denote this as a reversal of previous errors as per administrator's instructions.



4B) Squad Changes

Any changes to the previous season's final squad must be listed in the current season's initial squad submission denoting the additions as "INs" and subtractions as "OUTs".

If a change is required to a team list for any addition or subtraction it must be noted in a post in the current season's squad submission thread.

The change must include alteration to the player list, and the list of any additions ("Ins") and subtractions ("Outs")

The initial squad submission must be altered (preferred) or re-posted (if original poster unavailable) to reflect these changes.

Squad changes are considered complete once both of these above actions have been carried out.

Any players involved in squad changes are unable to be named in a team sheet for the new team until a valid change has been completed.

Any players that have closed or permanently banned accounts are not considered to be active and therefore those players must be removed from the submitted squad and the squad minimum criteria must still be met.

A player may only have one account as a listed player in the Sweet FA. No aliases allowed. A minimum 8 game suspension applies for a breach. Alias accounts may be used in a joking manner in media and match threads only, any alias accounts posting in a sign up thread will be considered a breach.
