Isn't it expensive to use prawns for bait?

I guess it is, we used squid and cockles too but 90% of my catches were on a bit of cooked prawn. At near $60 a kilo for KGW it balances out.

A fleet of eskys too with many beers and bundys consumed on the briney...thing is my lips are cooked I washed off the sun block in my zest.

I'm off again tomorrow to my annual Pt Victoria Wolves Hockey 'Training Camp' - same gig as last year WTFSSM 20 blokes (Saturday and Sunday nights) Caravan Park will be jumping...hope the King Georges are too.We have 5 or 6 boats and good tides.
Last year was our best haul yet.
