a dour stayer, was tried on the flat and as a last resort before sacking to the knackery was tried over the jumps.
can make up position in the field by a sequence of short, repetitious spurts
when given a spell has to be placed in a paddock by self as has one anti social habit.
also shows jealously towards the resident head stud stallion.

has been a consistent performer and has a dogged determination shown throughout his 8 years on the provincial turf tracks. The one to beat and will strive to hold position right to the 100 post mark.

been strong betting support as punters know what they get with this performer.

We'll Mayes didn't play a game. However, we 'played the youf' by making sure:
- Ryder got more games than Frampton, Ladhams and Marshall combined, then got traded.
- Broadbent got 6 more games than Garner, then got delisted
- S Gray got 13 more games than Farrell, Cox & Woodcock combined then got delisted

Hmmmm.

Sackable.

Burning that number of games on cooked players and Sam Gray when the team wasn't a premiership threat is awful list management.

Hinkley must have been worried about his job to rely on mature players so often. The selected round 22 team was the epitome of short term decision making. We must have been very close to sacking him and whoever/whatever stopped that sacking needs to be removed from the decision making process.

This is such a poor and weak attitude to have. We beat West coast and Geelong and barely lost to GWS (and we should've won). Our best WAS good enough. We should have been playing the best team to get us the result every week - not gifting youth games. If the youth was the best available then they play, but Farrell wasnt better than S Gray, Garner wasnt better than Broadbent and Frampton wasn't better than Ryder.

In fact you could easily make the argument that playing youth cost us making finals after playing Ladhams over Lycett backfired so spectacularly against North.

What'll really bake your noodle? The wins against West Coast (6th place) & Geelong (3rd place) were our 7th and 6th youngest teams we presented all year.

While many codes show accountability PAFC are and have always been in the AFL an amateur mentality

This is an interesting one. Melbourne Victory sit in 6th place after 13 rounds.
In the 2015-16 A League season, Marco Kurz's previous employer Adelaide United sat in 7th place, with even less wins on record than Melbourne Victory currently do. Adelaide United did not sack Guillermo Amor when the club was winless holding up the bottom of the ladder after the first 8 rounds.

They ended up lifting the toilet seat that season.

Adelaide United even struggled in the first half of Kurz's initial season, they then improved in the second half, and the next year. This is Melbourne Victory making a premature call.

The thing is, those are examples of coaches in their first year, not their 7th... so sack Hinkley.

The club signalled that we were going the youth route but what Koch/KT were saying and what Ken was fielding were at odds. Was the North game the one Lycett was infamously dropped for because he gave an opinion?

Brave eagle

a lightweight compared to the 2 clear cut outriders
connections are training him for a withering burst from the lesser lights near the 100 mark, but expected too far back in the field to close the gap
an eye catcher in the parade ring with 3 white patches near the hooves and a blazing white on the snout.
has been described as all show and no substance, but ye never know.
the bookies have taken a set against and offering double figure odds
as they say follow the money, but most have sacked this 4 year old entire from being in the winners circle.
