Yeah it's amazing really, how did we survive 150 years without him and the 04 premiership, he must have been involved some how.

We've been in the AFL for 25 completed seasons and in that time we've made two Grand Finals and won one flag. Hinkley has coached us for 9 completed seasons and in that time we've made zero Grand Finals. But Kenny Hinkley saved the little battler club from Alberton.

Yep, not every coach is going to give much to the media, which is fine, but you just know these kinds of quotes reflect the quality of his coaching. No wonder the team so often appears to be flat and dysfunctional.

whnat the * is eyes on the way we play?

half the reason we struggle with these campaigners is we make them out to be better than they are. in reality they'd be a lower top 8 side if they didn't have the cheat ground this year. even so they've started to drop a few home games recently. there's no reason to talk up the "bIg ChAlLeNgE". we're supposedly a top 2/top 4 team based on the last 2 years. beating a team that's 5-4 shoudn't be a task akin to taking on the harlem globetrotters. if we're in any way serious we win this game. but we won't cos hinkley.

I think there's a lot of people in influential places who genuinely rate Hinkley, his ability to mould a team, and would consider him a perfect fit for GWS and the market they're in.
