Sack Malthouse

We should have sacked Malthouse a couple of years ago. He has failed. We have an ordinary list lacking the drivers of modern success – ruck and pace and footskills in the midfield. We have a poor trading record since MM with duds in and quality out. In 8 trade weekend we have had 1 clear win and that cost us a bloke who went on to win 2 B&F and AA and FMD a premiership. We continue to chip the ball sideways and turn it over. We continue to be not good enough. We had our chance after losing in 2002 and blew it.

Next please!

Agree with MT and DTM.

We can't win with a doddery old fool like malty..and his broken down hack mates - licca, morrison etc - meanwhile we have traded young players like Scotland for nix.

Hands up who would not like him back?

Should pension old Malty off as soon as possible - which now seems to be the end of 2008.

At that time - Bucks steps straight in with me as his Chairman of Selectors

The media beckons Mr Ox is slow.

While I am at it that is another thing that annoys me about him ...his pseudo-intellectualism - coming from a failed plumber and bloke whose idea of well read is Readers Digest condensed books it is a joke.

He is a lightweight and if Jabber would let me post I would have started the below as a thread:

Micky Shithouse - failure and lightweight.

Of course you agree because your bitter and don't support the club for what it is. Your another that loves to see us lose.

Putting Lica in the category with Morrison and mates is pretty strange. Lica came from Sydney, then won two Copelands back to back in a Grand Final season (almost a premiership Copeland Trophy winner!). He is still in our best 22.

Scotland wanted to leave for more of an opportunity, Mick's fault yes, but get your facts right...it was for Brent Hall. Nixon was our first-round draft pick. Atleast Mick got something (a 2nd rounder) for Scotland.

Malthouse can leave in 2008 if we don't win the premiership. At the minute he has been their to take the club to 2 grand finals, which were lost to possibly the best side ever.

Also the 'ordinary' list made 5th last season, Malthouse's last season as coach! Going on that form, not bad to be the best Victorian club.

Once again, you're the one who tries to e-bash people with petty PM's titled "LITTLE TOSSER". Laughable mate.

Failure? - Only is a two-time premiership coach (one of 23) and taken a side into 5 grand finals, as well as taking a side to the finals 10 consecutive years (ONE of the record of the great Norm Smith).

Dear Lonely from 50

Think you will find that we got pick 35 for Scotland.

A lousy return and unfortunately part of the blown deal to get nick stevens.

Malty successful - in my view he had some of the great squads of talent ever assembled thanks to AFL largesse - anyone remember Kemp, Heady MacIntosh, hymie at chb AND THE REST OF THEM.

So he got them into finals - big damn deal.

Reckon sheedy would have won 6 premierships with that squad.

Licca is not in our best 22 - i dont think he is in our best 30.

Had a reasonable 2002 but b and f - bullshit.

Lastly you are a little tosser - I have barracked for longer than you and my blood runs deeper.

The difference is I do not blindly endorse the unbearable madness of mick - unlike you I can think for myself.

I would go with true pies and get rid of the old fool.

He is full of it and you frankly are worse.

And your point is what...you at first said Scotland for Nix(on), who was our first-rounder (and a hack), and 35 was Brent Hall, yes...and the Stevens deal was Didak or no deal...not Scotland.

Read the facts. You think he is unsuccessful and a failure.

He will be remembered as a dual Copeland Trophy winner, and both times deserving, it doesn't go on Mr.Arrogants voting system, it goes on the system which has been round a long time and there was no bullshit in it what-so-ever!

Then, despite his old legs, he was and still is in our best 22 (well, then again, this is a guy who has played all games this season...that is the benchmark!)

Lastly you are a little tosser - I have barracked for longer than you and my blood runs deeper.

Little would be a compliment, thanks. And you have barracked longer than me, not hard when I am only turning 20. Then again, who goes around going...I've barracked for the club longer than you so my opinion > your opinion. Instead of gaining facts etc, you use this reason as to why your arguments are better. Pretty poor.

This coach in his last year of his contract (IIRC before the extension to the end of 2007), had a side that was coming off 15th, and was expected to finish bottom two once more, but coached them to 5th at the end of the home and away season, and was done in an elimination final by a better hard running side.

Lonie, love your passion and largely agree with you. however there is a saying that goes "got it for nix" which means got it for nothing, not got it for nixon. so what your crazy friend meant was that we lost scotland for nothing not, we lost scotland for bo nixon.

just think of this as my way of helping you not put your foot in it again. keep up the passion and optimism.

Haha,

I did have a feeling, but oh well, he's still a joke of a supporter.

Dear Lonely

Could not reply to you last night as jabber banned me for hurting your feelings

Haha rofl etc. You did have an idea you were making a fool of yourself again but you did it anyway.

Good on ya...

The point about Stevens was that mad mick and blamey were trying to engineer two picks for port - thinking they might fold re nick.

They did not - blamey and malty thought they would take the two draft picks - our first rounder and the one we got scotland.

They did not and the rest is history.

This is on the public record and barmy blamey has spoken on SEN re this and so has Chris Pelchen.

Tired of correcting your errors and to me now you no longer exist.

i don't know if this has been said but nixon was taken in at 21 in the 2002 draft and scotland was traded for pick 35 in the 2003 draft in which we picked hall a ruckman

At the point i would like to see a change at the end of the season myself. Happy to be wrong but i don't see MM taking us any further.

Now that this has been said, i must be a joke of a supporter and want collingwood to lose all the time

Very immature ramblings. LF50. I like seeing Collingwood supporters voicing their opinions. Both positive and negative. Keep the club accountable, rather than towing the company line.

We Were Fantastic in the 1st Half of Last Year and Ify at Best In the 2nd Half.

Thats not Crash Hot Coaching.

Mick is Alright But We Can get A better Coach.

People are Saying Roos in a Couple of Years:D

Why Does Dave The Moron Type Every Word Starting With A Capital Letter?

Is It A Collingwood Thing??
