Tonights crowd for an emlimination final (which has the reigning premier playing to stay alive) just proves the argument made by many on big footy that in Melbourne there really are only 4 clubs that can consistently fill up the G. Pies, Tiges, Blues, Dons... PERIOD.

The atmosphere at the MCG is fine at 60% capacity, even 50%. A full MCG is incomparable to any other stadium, which is why it's the best stadium in the country.

The atmosphere was amazing in the 2nd half

The first half was a pretty poor game so what do you expect, the crowd cant turn water into wine and invent a reason to be excited
