The desperation and second efforts and numbers at the contest were impressive.

Jake mopping up was sublime IMO. Bruce played and ran his guts out. He's back.

Roo gives us that get out option. We missed Webster and so did Robbo.

You can excuse Gilbert's clangers for everything else he does - career best form IMO.

When we lower the eyes going in we look mint.

We controlled that game from the start. In the final Q what happened? Did our mids tire in the centre? Or did Billy fade out, because they pretty much set up those goals by winning it in the square.

Thoughts?

Interesting to see if Paddy comes in. Any other player would have been told its time to make way for a kid.... but Roo isn't just any other player.

Really liked Jakes game
We really are a much better side with Webster playing
Really happy for Gilberts return to form
Sincs will be a very handy player for many years and Bruce work rate was out of this world
We were never in danger of losing this game the win we had to have

Poise and decision making will improve with experience. I reckon we are 4/22 silky players short. We need to add a few more good ball users as it will take so much pressure off everyone. Then our skills improve exponentially.

Got carded for 2 weeks. He's had enough of the crap being posted on here.

The break will do him good. When you're taking what others are posting on a forum to heart you need a break. You've got to learn to laugh at others opinions when you disagree not get angry at them. Otherwise you send yourself insane. It's like trying to work out how females brains work. Impossible.

He's a massive defender of the club, and the constant potting and bagging of players etc, sits poorly with him. And I do not blame him. My ignore list has increased lately.

He'll been gone for longer than two weeks.

I was talking about Hickey getting 10 extra pointless touches and losing every single ruck contest...

Lol, yeah I guessed that but it fitted my side so I went with it. To be honest I'm over arguing with you about this . I'm not going to change my mind and you aren't so let's just let it go. We can find something else to argue about lol.

Haaaaahaha. I noticed he was working up a head of steam. Good on him. The game day thread last night was absolute trash. Steer clear stuff. You gotta wonder sometimes...

Yep it was the proverbial straw for Joffa. You'd think we lost by 100.
I ride the ups and downs and cringe at errors, but this was do OTT.

Still not enough love for this guy.

Where were you Sinclair fanboys earlier in the season?

I felt like I was the only one that remembered him here and was screaming blue murder when we played Lonie, Long and Minchington ahead of him.

You also going to claim Acres when he has a huge game because you started a thread saying he should start on the field?

What I noticed is Dunstan was right at the coal face up to half time. He was in everything and first to the ball so many times giving off handballs for the outside players.

He was hardly sighted in the second half and that showed as the kangaroos midfield got on top. It just shows you how important he is too us. Yes Jack Steele gets more tackles because he is second to the ball on most occasions while Dunstan in and under is much quicker thus giving us first use.

He needs to build up his tank because at the moment he is only a half game player. Look out when he gets a tank because he will carry the team on his shoulder and you can bookmark this.

Dunstan is not quicker than Steele. I have no idea where you got that idea from.

And not one of those highlights was a centre clearance lol.

Cause he was playing as a forward most of his time at GWS. You didn't mention anything about centre clearances but that footage clearly shows Steel is not slow when he attacks the contest.

You said "Yes Jack Steele gets more tackles because he is second to the ball on most occasions while Dunstan in and under is much quicker thus giving us first use."

Examine the following (2017 averages per game):
Steele gets 10.4 contested possessions compared to Dunstan's 7.8
Steele gets 3.9 clearances to Dunstan's 3.0
Steele gets 7.2 tackles to Dunstan's 4.0

Please explain how that data supports your argument.
