Not sure why they accepted the debts were paid out now, in the same dollar value as what they were when accrued in the late 70s?
Gifts lol.

I wish it was more acceptable to change clubs, often.

Getting a club's shit together off the field is the first step to success. Sainter3and7 I hope for you and other long suffering supporters that this is happening.
he's been active since 2013 and over 1k posts. how is it a troll accountIt’s clearly a troll account and this post should be moved to the “No Man’s Land” thread where it will improve the level of intelligence
Do it, it’ll be better for everyoneI've often been ashamed to be a St Kilda fan and member. I wish it was more acceptable to change clubs, often.
With friends like you, who needs enemies.Atomboy I'm not a troll. I'm an old man who has followed the Saints all my life. I could talk to you about the fights people had when we moved from the Junction Oval. I can still sing the club song from that time. I'm still dirty at my brother who said he was getting me a ticket to the 1971 grand final versus the Hawks and he didn't. I've met many many legends of the club, over many decades, who are no longer with us. I remember the shenannigans when Ian Stewart left us for Richmond. Afterwards, he personally told me he played badly against them that year so that the Saints would think higher of Billy Barrett. I remember the old days. Like when Neil Roberts, an absolute club legend, had a bitter argument with Alan Jeans and was basically pushed into retirement. Not just the doldrums of the 80s, or the Save Our Saints campaign, or the celebrations when Barry Breen played his 300th game. Or when Trevor Barker played, or died. Or Danny. If you name one of the stars of our club from the 50s to the early 2000s, I could tell you a personal story about them. I'm not involved like that now. Im old. But troll... yeah, nah.

I think anyone who can allow themselves to be 'jaded' by an organisation that they have nothing to do with, other than choosing to barrack for them - is beyond help.A bit harsh, the old fella has just seen enough over the years to be jaded. Can completely related with how Essendon have been run as a club since the early 2000’s,
lol, do you even football? Being jaded comes with the territory. Some teams more than others...I think anyone who can allow themselves to be 'jaded' by an organisation that they have nothing to do with, other than choosing to barrack for them - is beyond help.

There’s a difference between criticizing the club and admitting you want to barrack for someone else. Just switch teams at that point.Funny how pissy some supporters get just because one of their own can also manage to be critical of the club they support and not just blindly defend them to the death.
Old mate's probably done more to support the club than any of the guys having a sook about him being honest.
And aside from probably Tasmania (because they don't even exist yet), good luck finding another club that hasn't done all the exact same shit over the years. There’s a difference between criticizing the club and admitting you want to barrack for someone else. Just switch teams at that point.
Nobody cares if you change teams, don’t just think about doing it - do it.
Personally I did exactly that, but the comments in here reflect that people do care otherwise they wouldn't be commenting about him. The man is obviously just passionate about his club, and passion often leads to pain. Anyway he didn't admit he wanted to barrack for someone else, he said he has often felt ashamed about the Saints and had wished that it was more acceptable to switch teams, not that he was going to or wanted to.There’s a difference between criticizing the club and admitting you want to barrack for someone else. Agreed, I'd tell them to get stuffed.

You think Lindsay Fox would just pay out... drop in the ocean for him.
Post created by a disgruntled Carlton fan, I assume this is because of the TDK free agency coup, if so, have a flipping sook lmao
The Rioli’s approve of this postYou dont get rich handing out money to people. Unless you're Mr Beast I guess.
Nothing to see here I guess? Who cares if your club spent decades ripping off players, coaches, and administrators. As long as you get the silverware its all good !!
Oh wait...
My Dad is a Saints fan and also an old man and just like you he is very jaded despite his love for the club. He was a little kid when Breen kicked that point and he still loves to talk about it even today. When I was young he practically disallowed me to become a Saints fan (mum was Cats) because he didn't want me to go through what he went through with the Saints.Atomboy I'm not a troll.
