I was just reading about this song , Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft , which I thought was an original song by The Carpenters. But it was originally performed by a band called Klaatu from Canada. Apparently when they first released this song there was lots of rumours that it was the Beatles back together under another name . Although to me the singing is nothing like the Beatles but the music does sound like something from Sgt. Peppers album .

ahh man what a sensational performer. man I miss 80's music, where the eccentric and flair was what made great music, music that touched the soul and spoke a language, seems a lot rarer these days, maybe there is just more crap to sort through. Love my music, spent alot of my youth engrossed in it, have a very bipolar collection, could only be called bipolar, the one connection it all has is that feeling inside

spent literally hours listening to this one song over the years, would take the car out to one of the paddocks at just let this rip, the power of that sax is something else.

I love the way music speaks, the stories they tell, the way they can communicate their lives, they way music can transport you to another place and let you feel
