How hot is Isa at this time of year? In Italy I don't mind Aperol spritz but without the heat and scenery they taste like ball sweat here.
Weird comparison, but not surprising coming from you chief

Well would you look at that, the 3 foot wonders are out in numbers again. This time it's the village gimp arking up. Where's blowman to complete the trifecta??

Grabbed bottle of Deanston 12 single malt today on the advice of the bottle shop guy, $80 and pretty good value, got a sweetness and some depth for the price. It's as good as a lot of $100+ bottles. Had a blind taste against some better ones and it was better than a few.

Has everyone taken the pledge, all quite on the drinking front apart from us gringo. Purchased a half dozen from a small place in Clarendon street, claim to be a small winery specialist. They have some interesting wines it’s worth a look online if you’re bored.

Prince Wine store in South Melbourne is unbelievable too. It's a world class wine store and has everything. Is your Cloud something? I've driven past it but not been in.

I went a bit hard yesterday. Cup day with my wife's single female mates. I was the only male there and they got rowdy. They go away for weekends, I'm pretty sure they must go full DeGoey on the winery staff now. I drank to cope, now I regret drinking. 6 beers, champagne, aperol spritz, white wine. I'm still shady now.

One of my mates does Cup Day every year and he dogged it this year. All his fault.

Yes it’s cloudwine, I didn’t have a drink on cup day I tend to take it pretty easy on days where the general population fire up.
