Having Hall at centre bounce was a master stroke. Put all his focus on tracking and winning the ball off the ruckman. Dees probably thought he was in there to block for the other guys and didn't pay him close enough attention.

He’s one of my absolute favourite players but if he was to play midfield it would definitely be as a defensive mid and not a fast goal scoring type.

Chito isn’t explosive enough to be the kind of mid we need until Steele and McRae retired.

We don’t need a slow contested beast right now unless we stop playing Steele or Macrae.

Hopefully in a few years he will be in there along all our other emerging mids.

I think on balance you could.

Macrae pairs with Hall and Nas quite nicely
Owens with Steele and Windy
Clark with Sincs and someone else

We dont seem to have much balance in our centre square setup alot of the time.

If he could finish off his work he would be Isaac Heeney levels of good. Unfortunately, he is a pretty average set shot and kick. Hopefully he is working hard to improve that aspect of his game.

He's absolutely blue chip when he's got no time to think. Snaps, long range bombs with someone chasing him and he nails them. Give him a set shot 15 meters out with ages to line it up and it's like he can't remember where his foot is any more.

Hopefully he'll get more composed with time and get some better base technique to minimise the misses.

Viney, Oliver miss sitters early. Melksham a poster. Arie to RoMa and he misses everything.Steele marks in the middle of 3 Dees for a goal. Maso contested mark and goal. Hastie to Wood again point. Hilly stands under a mark and doesn't flinch. Stocker with some nice work in the clinches. Coops with a long bomb goal. Higgo rag dolled for an easy goal. Petty dropped a mark directly in front of goal.

So much good stuff.

The 360 montage makes me well up every time. The reaction after the winning goal is epic. Just so grateful to be there, an unforgettable win.

It's actually not unlike that massive Dogs comeback in 2015 I think it was. Hopefully unlike that win, this can be the catalyst for something.

There has been comments made about Kelly Underwood on here that have bagged her call whilst extolling the brilliance of Jess Webster.

I hate a lot of the male callers but like most don't feel the need to call it out after every game. I thought Kelly hit the mark beautifully at the end and Jess did too.

"25 years of footy at Marvel and this one has been bloody Marvelous for St Kilda"

That is a fantastic line from Kelly. Macca Huddo or Dennis deliver it and It's lauded by all...

Both are very good callers that make mistakes. As Jess would say herself at the 1 min 40 second mark of this. 3rd time lucky.

It's pretty cool that this game that was buried on a Sunday arvo is now famous forever and is being talked about on a national level. We rarely get that kind of attention.

NAS and Hall get the praise, but it was another game from Clark that reminds me why I can't quit being a Clark truther. Just when I think i'm out he pulls me back in!

Ross is just unbelievably reluctant to mix it up until he is absolutely forced to. We should have been seeing a NAS/Hall combo with Owens rotating also for months now.

This is a man who played Robert Eddy in a GF with a busted arm, rather then a fit Steven or Armitage. Seriously, one of the dumbest selections in AFL history.

Once Ross makes his mind up you won't change it. He has put a line through Owens as a mid and we will never see it now.

The prosecution would like to call Max Heath to the stand.

Still significantly pleasing. The final quarter was easily the most enjoyable of any match I've seen since becoming a fan of the sport. You couldn't write that ending. It's one extreme or the other with Saints.

Goes to show how important pace around the stoppage is. Steele and Macrae is not a good mix. Only need 1 of them in there at the same time.
