Any news on the Helsingborg Saints?
Just doing a bit of research on them:

They were apparently the first Swedish Aussie Rules team formed in 1993. However, they were essentially the only established Aussie Rules club in Sweden and were forced to play intra-club matches up until around the time the OP posted this forum in 2000.

Finally in 2003-04 tired of the lack of available competition elsewhere in Sweden, Helsingborg was allowed to join the Danish Australian Football League (as Helsingborg itself is a town directly located next to the Oresund Strait Separating Sweden from Denmark).

Helsingborg eventually separated themselves into 4 teams of different skill levels (a bit like how the Australian cricket team is separated into Australia, Australia A, etc...) called the Helsingborg West Raptors, Lund Magpies, Port Malmo Maulers and South Sweden Saints. The South Sweden Saints were considered the top tier team of Helsingborg's football community and therefore renamed themselves the Helsingborg Saints. They apparently made a Grand Final in 2005 and Port Malmo won the premiership in 2009.

In 2007, a new governing body for Aussie Rules in Sweden was established still with only 3 competing teams Gothernburg Berkserkers, Scania Griffins and Stockholm Dynamite.

The Helsingborg Saints and its lower tier teams still play in the Danish Australian Football League today (I assume because it is still a more competitive league). However they are eligible to play for Sweden in the International Cup.
