I see M.Clarke isn't on the list, so i hope that means he is 100% right for the kangas this week. Very suprised to see Leigh Fisher facing a test for his hamstring. Thought he was out for 3-4.

I see Michael Gardiner is out for two. The next week it will still read out for two and a week later out for two again.
Why do they treat us as fools?

Can't use injury as an excuse this week boys and girls.;)

We might not have as many on our wounded list but consider this:

No full back
No CHB
No CHF
No FF
Best midfielder out

Luckily we have an inform ruckman and a fleet of midgets who don't mind kicking a goal.

Gardiner has been progressively been getting better... every week, as expected, his expected number of weeks injured has dropped by around 1 week. coinsidence? He was expected to be able to play after the mid year break and he looks to be about on schedule from reports.

One work for you. "Ackland". Ha ha ha ha!

On the injury note, it does annoy me that they do not put injuries in accurately. Clarke has been injured the alst few matches and never seems to appear. Why can they not put the truth up? The opposition know in advance of the game. It only goes to disadvantage the betting and dream team public!

I don't like saying it but perhaps there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel. I guess the problem is that should we lose on Sunday we'll be 4-7 and even with most of our list available in the second half of the season we'll have one hell of a battle just making the finals.

No full back - I thought Watt was playing this week?
No CHB - I didn't know Petrie was injured? Leigh Brown maybe?
No CHF - Leigh Harding is hardly a CHF
No FF - If Thompson did play, he would only take himself off the ground when the game was on the line
Best Midfielder Out - Grant? Simpson? Harvey?

As you can read from this thread, most St Kilda supporters believe that the worst is over injury wise, and we just need to get game time into the players coming back. However, X Clarke, L Fisher, M Clarke, Gardiner, Harvey & Maguire are all unlikely to play this week and all are in our best 22 (not mentioning Hamill so we can avoid 32,189 Carlton supporters telling us he is never on the park).

Exactly. Don't confuse list deficiencies with injuries!

Hamill is the big one. May not kick as many goals as he should. May not touch the ball as much as he should. But what he offers the team is huge. We are like 75% win percentage with him playing. I only worry with him missing this much football even if he does play few games he may never be the player he was.

Watt doesn't play FB
No CHB - I didn't know Petrie was injured? Leigh Brown maybe?
Both Petrie and Brown have been playing forward this year with Petrie also spending time in the ruck. Not sure where you're getting your info from.
No CHF - Leigh Harding is hardly a CHF
I agree, but don't know why you brought it up.
No FF - If Thompson did play, he would only take himself off the ground when the game was on the line
No, he'd provide a target and probably be good for a couple of goals, hence why Lidge said no FF.
Best Midfielder Out - Grant? Simpson? Harvey?
Grant is a permanent forward, Simpson is an in and under and Harvey plays forward most of the time also. On his day Wells is our best midfielder.

Even with a healthy list to pick i'm not sure the saints would still make the finals. Things are just not clicking at the moment, with the new coach and his new ways. Things can change pretty quickly though.

Even the team that was picked to face geelong should not have lost the game by 60 points. Yes Geelong are on fire, but we should of least remained competitive.
