Smith was injured. Who wasn’t injured today? We are a bit underdone atm (soft bodies - hence our injury rate), obviously prepped to peak later in the season. Hopefully enough guys make it through to that part of the season!

What do you expect when we lose Jaegar before the game, then 2 key defenders, especially Stratts. I was actually pretty impressed with the Hawks effort. Just shows that Saints are pretty ordinary by only winning by a few points. We could have almost snagged a win except for some dubious decisions. That HTB was ******* bullshit in the most critical time and in front of there goals. But what’s new!!??

Agreed, Hawks tried tirelessly until the final siren and almost limped across the line. writing was on the wall early in the 4th and based on what we had left in the tank, no complaining from over here.

Statistically, it's almost impossible to win when you are down 2 on the bench (rarely happens according to 3aw footy, they were saying how remarkable it is we stayed in it as long as we did), and added to that Smith, Cousins, Nash and later Impey all played out carrying something. But * me, that umpiring to hand them to match.. What an embarrassment to the sport.

Too many injuries and yet another game decided in front of goals with a decision that could of gone either way

This... Maybe we aren’t fit, but we are not good enough late in games.

As for the umpires, we didnt get shafted. They were bad both ways. We were just not polished enough. Dropped marks, butter fingers with handpasses, easy shots, and poor disposal cost us. But a lot of that was saints pressure.

We got done by a better team on the day.

Our effort (IMO) was good. Skills pretty bad on a lot of occasions, but we tried.

Imagine being St.Kilda where you need until the last 2 minutes to win a game against an opponent with 2 gone for the game, another 3 with extended periods on the bench and probably only 15-16 fit blokes for a major part of the game and you still need s**t umpiring to win
