He looks like Stuv in the sleeves and long hair.
The only giveaway from that pic was the jumper number.
Not convinced he wasn’t being lifted by another player 🤣

Training Report 3/12/2025 New
Headed down today. I dont watch as closely as ithers but things I noticed:

  • Banfield looks VERY promising
  • King & TDK both looked good in rehab
  • Clark still looks proppy. Not sure what is the go there... although he never looks comfortable running.
  • My God Wilson can run. He is always looking back over his shoulder, I honestly think it's so that he doesn't run too fast. He looks that comfortable. And he is built like a brick outhouse
  • Higgins was good in drills
  • Collard is miles ahead with his running this year.
*Owens is a beast. So strong once he has his opponent under the ball in a marking contest. And he can keep up with the mids when running
  • Boxshall had ankle brace / strapping. Walked ok to the pool
  • Fincher looks like he belongs.
  • my jury is out on Travaglia, just doesn't seem up to the level. Early days I guess
*Caminiti is a specimen and very strong in the air

Unfortunately, it was not all good news. There is still 1 major area of concern:

Stocker ia a long way off. Can only walk the oval ATM.
I was listening to SEN either Coons or Moons (now that is a show name) and they said it’s harder and harder to play without a preseason these days. You have to be flying by Christmas . Makes me wonder how Jack Sinclair managed to start in 24 or 25.

I didnt get that. in the drill on the boundary Harves (Sir Robert) was coaching him heaps. Right near the end Harves yelled that's it Trav with the movement to position A1 that Harves had been asking for. In tight then spread.

The kid is coachable and has great hands. He may not be a burst on the scene player but he's tracking way ahead of Byrnes who trained very well today.

I hope you are right. He seems very intense / stressed and the coaches seem to be trying to boost his confidence. He is very young. I'm just saying I don't yet see where his elite traits are. But I am no one to judge a player. Tauru looks like he has legit superstar attributes though. Even I can see that.

Didnt see Sinclair at all today though. Anyone know why? Also what's going on with Maccrae?

Travaglia is more of a multifaceted type than a one trick player. His elite talent is going to be he's quick to start the ball moving IMO. In his draft year, he was into attack as soon as he takes the ball. Good at reading the flight, good below his knees, good in traffic etc.

I reckon he could develop into another Nick Blakey.

I can see that now you've said it Gringo. He can run, he's all arms and legs flailing. Will halve a contest that spills out then will be on his bike and get the give 20 metres away and be off. He's got a lot of good.

Longmembrey - I agree on Tauru but today his kicking wasn't elite. If you line up all our players they have flaws. I'm very excited though that that the flaws are getting to be minimal so that across the list the bridge is getting way less wonky.
