Geez, could've gone on for awhile longer... there's plenty of material!!!

It all started with Billy Barrott and it's been down hill from there...

Brian Wilson...
I remember Wilson being pretty good to watch, but I was much younger then. Was he actually bad for us?
Bad, bad, bad... bad vibrations

Polo
Mc Gough
Capuano
Robbie Neill
Ackland
Pattison
Gamble
Sean Charles
Mark Gale
i didnt mind Polo ... "Muddy" McGough had that stigma of being a wet weather specialist who got traded to the club who played most game under a roof ...
Sugar Ackland gets extra point in my eyes because he went to Carlton on a big $$ contrat to spud it up even further than he did with us ..
Ryan Gamble was just a waste of time .. a story i heard was he really never fit in with the players at the club..

you could also add Charlie "steak Knives" Gardiner ... part of the deal that we got Steven King for so cheap was the proviso that we took Charlie with him ..

Yeah right, at a glance he only played 7 games for us! I remembered more than that. He kicked 6 one day.
Couple that spring to mind Glen? Middlemis from Geelong came with a reputation and left without one...

Better one even than that was Ben? Buckley from Carlton. First game with Sainters he lead up to the ball as he did with Carlton and instead of the perfect lace out delivery he got with the Blues it went 3m over his head delivered by a Jerryn Geary clone.

Ben thinks that's okay......next lead he made ball kicked at his feet. He couldn't pick it up got flattened by some full back that lined him up and flattened him.

He realised that playing at the Saints may be terminal and left for climes unknown.

Ian Aiken from Carl was another but he could and did play well at Saints until injury cut him down sad.

Mark McConville was a beauty. Spiro Korkamelis was not.

Tim Pekin was a beauty from Fitzroy on the other hand Mark Dwyer was not nor was Leon Harris.
