Back playing GTA V now. Once you get past the tutorial missions too much fun to take it out.

Looks like this is being released for next gen in January 2015 with all the DLC. Wonder if it'll be uncensored?

There's a standalone expansion coming out as well called Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell.

I was a huge fan of SR3, so this kind of hurts.

Ive never been convinced of the jump between gen 7 and gen 8 in terms of graphics; this blows that opinion out of the water. These graphics are terrible. Very hard to look at.

If you don't think day/night cycles are important, play an entire game at night with neon lights everywhere. It's hard to look at.

Presentation is just sloppy. Cut scenes are amateurish. Pop in is disgusting. Textures are Mega Drive era.

'Unbalanced' is the best word to describe this. The city essentially becomes meaningless. Fly everwhere, from location to location. They've made the open world almost meaningless. The city is bland and samey. The superpowers are cool in isolation, but just throw everything out of whack.

Also, for its rep for being over the top, it's quite bland. Much of the stuff if re-heated SR3 stuff.

For all this, the game still is simply fun. Not awesome fun, but using the powers is holding my interest.

The forumula needs to be refreshed if there is a SR5.

Not since they took it to weird alien shit. Since this remaster is being done by another team they probably announce saints row 5 soon or another red faction game

The first Saints Row game was enjoyable but after that the game just became over the top ridiculousness.
