I’m aware he hasn’t had much of the ball. But he has gotten bang for buck twice against us.

And again.. both tight loses. We get control of the game hit the front and he bobs up and takes it away from us again.

If you don’t think much of his threat. That’s fine.

But I agree that he is a big threat for us. We just don’t have the right match up for him.

Oh well, clearly the coaches agree otherwise they'd give him a vote for the impact he's had on those games.

I think Webster is a good match up for him.

Rioli has played us twice since joining Port.

We have lost both games by under 2 kicks.

In both games we have got on a run of multiple goals and Rioli then pops up with the next goal that turns the tide again.

Rioli's a spud. Their midfield is our biggest concern. Especially if Butters is back. Win in there and we win the game.

I don't think Willie is as fast as he was when he first broke onto the scene. Maybe the bongs slowed him down a bit.

I do think he's a very crafty player, gets to the right spots and very good with his body work so Webster seems like a pretty good match up for him.

Port actually had him playing midfield minutes against the Bombers which seemed a little odd. I think they are really missing Butters in there right now and on the hunt for something a bit different.

When I think of port games, it's that bursting from the centre that gives me nightmares. Feel we are better at clearances and have a bit more speed around the ball this time

It seems like we run half pace when we play PA, no idea why. I would be pretty unhappy to see a dud first quarter from us- about time we turned the tables and beat those yobs.

Port play a game style similiar to the way Richmond played the first half last week. They love to maintain possession and chip the ball around at angles working their way forward, basically denying us access to the ball. We struggle to pressure their game even when working our arses off. Lyon needs to address it this week and not allow them the easy uncontested possessions and pressure up a lot higher.

I'll never change my view that the entire Richardson coaching spell goes completely differently if we win that game. No Riewoldt, No Montagna, No Gilbert. Almost 2 years younger per player that day, with over 750 total games less experience. Would have been a club changing win.
