Ok guys, correct me if I'm wrong but this is the general gist of everything I understood what happened after day one.
FIRST OF ALL: Lay off Robbo about his performance when they crossed over to him in front of AFL house, he is the smartest one of the bunch. He would arrived there in the morning and thought to himself "F this I'm not wasting my day here being trolled that shit belongs on the HTB" so he walked to the nearest pub set his phone on loud and twitter notification on and when anything new developed he would of skulled the remaining beer and strolled back to AFL house. #Respect
And the saga!
Negotiations started today and seem to be chugging along nicely until it broken down between the AFL and EFC because the AFL are pushing for a PERMANENT ban for Hird now. Initially the AFL only wanted 6-12 month suspension but because the EFC said/will reappoint him as head coach after the suspension the AFL don't want Hird returning as a martyr type figure.
The QC's are still at it and make slow progress while making killer buck$. The AFL are trying to penalise the club separate to the individuals so they can wrap up club penalties before finals, we are saying no as this happened collectively together and if we do this our guys will be screwed.
But since they are penalising them together at the moment the AFL are using them against each other as leverage (disgusting tactic) Example: if Hird doesn't press charges in supreme court you can keep picks. But if Hird takes a permanent ban Reid/Bomber cleared. They are try to push Hird out in the cold but Essendon aren't happy with those tactics and should never fold to this as doing so will be soul destroy for the them.
An since the AFL are trying to make deals and throw all charges out with certain people the Essendon lawyers are questioning what "real" evidence do they have. Supreme court will certainly make the AFL look stupid. IMHO if you have evidence on someone to warrant a charge and execute the penalty you would pursue it always, let no one walk. None of this bullshit of charging people based on flimsy evidence .
And a late bolter of the blocks is Nathan Buckley, he says "NO" to drugz on FC Monday.
Anything I miss or incorrect?
