Ok guys, correct me if I'm wrong but this is the general gist of everything I understood what happened after day one.

FIRST OF ALL: Lay off Robbo about his performance when they crossed over to him in front of AFL house, he is the smartest one of the bunch. He would arrived there in the morning and thought to himself "F this I'm not wasting my day here being trolled that shit belongs on the HTB" so he walked to the nearest pub set his phone on loud and twitter notification on and when anything new developed he would of skulled the remaining beer and strolled back to AFL house. #Respect

And the saga!
Negotiations started today and seem to be chugging along nicely until it broken down between the AFL and EFC because the AFL are pushing for a PERMANENT ban for Hird now. Initially the AFL only wanted 6-12 month suspension but because the EFC said/will reappoint him as head coach after the suspension the AFL don't want Hird returning as a martyr type figure.

The QC's are still at it and make slow progress while making killer buck$. The AFL are trying to penalise the club separate to the individuals so they can wrap up club penalties before finals, we are saying no as this happened collectively together and if we do this our guys will be screwed.

But since they are penalising them together at the moment the AFL are using them against each other as leverage (disgusting tactic) Example: if Hird doesn't press charges in supreme court you can keep picks. But if Hird takes a permanent ban Reid/Bomber cleared. They are try to push Hird out in the cold but Essendon aren't happy with those tactics and should never fold to this as doing so will be soul destroy for the them.

An since the AFL are trying to make deals and throw all charges out with certain people the Essendon lawyers are questioning what "real" evidence do they have. Supreme court will certainly make the AFL look stupid. IMHO if you have evidence on someone to warrant a charge and execute the penalty you would pursue it always, let no one walk. None of this bullshit of charging people based on flimsy evidence .

And a late bolter of the blocks is Nathan Buckley, he says "NO" to drugz on FC Monday.

Anything I miss or incorrect?

This is true. There has been a lot of confirmation bias on this issue. Although it has to be said that many Essendon supporters could be accused of confirmation bias as well.

I bet some Psychologist out there is planning on doing a PhD on all the Cognitive Biases shown in this saga from all sides.

Are you sure they want him banned for good? I haven't heard that one.

Seriously the AFL would be kidding themselves if they want a 12 month ban to be a life ban ,LOL. The AFL needs to be taken down a few rungs, and there's no better organisation to do it than the mighty EFC..

This won't be solved tomorrow, call me red sash or Cerberus...(I am not either of those 2)

Well they don't want him to be eligible to coach after he serves a suspension if he gets one. . . I should of clarified my original post better. The AFL don't want him to coach at Essendon again and I highly doubt Hird would coach in any capacity at another club. Imagine after a 12 month suspension the reception he would receive, it would be the same as when Jesus rose from his tomb after 3 days.

You've gotta wonder why the club is even entertaining negotiations with the AFL. What are they holding over us? I reckon the AFL got all the other presidents to sign off on the possibility of deregistering the club. Its the only thing I can think they would have left. They leaked & released every intimate detail of the club & its staff & facilitated a media assisination not seen since Lindy Chamberlain. We have had or reputations forever destroyed & will be declared as cheats regardless of what happens from here on. We've got nothing left to lose but our licence & I would not put it past the AFL for a single second to threaten it. This is why the presidents were called in. I believe as a foundation member the AFL cannot simply remove the club without the authorisation of all other clubs. With a criminal investigation almost certain to result from Vlad & co being forced to appear in court the AFL would be desperate to avoid the harsh light of impartial justice being shone on their conduct. Add to this the blatently currupt collusion with ASADA who release an interim report at the AFLs' request in order to help them justify their predetermined agenda of forcing us out of finals. Also who could forget our wonderful government & their part in this drama & no doubt continuing influence in perverting justice to hide their incompotence. Vlad is a good ALP man & like so many of them he's currupt to the bone (I don't care who you vote for but I believe all Essendon supporters shoudl be conscious of the the role the ALP played in all this). This was Clare & Lundys' great grandstanding idea that Vlad went along with for political expedience. He's probably got asperations himself to go into politics so had no problem swallowing the parties "blackest day in sport" & throwing us to the slaughter. We are fighting more than the AFL in this.

Yes it does. AOD is banned by injection, not by cream. Some drugs are legal under normal circumstances but illegal by IV etc.
I don't believe that is right. AOD is not listed as banned at all. WADA have declared that it comes under the S0 category as not being approved for therapeutic use. I believe that category makes no distinction on delivery methods. There are other substances that are only banned under certain circumstances (IV for example) or above specific doses but the S0 category potentially bans the use of anything that does not have TGA approval which is why it is a minefield that has not yet been tested.

Some interesting points on TalkingFooty. Carey thinks if Hird thought he was guilty he would have cracked under the pressure by now, however he has held himself so well throughout under unprecedented pressure indicating he doesn't have a guilty conscience. Some old enemies have been our friends recently.

Watson reckons the AFL dragged out the investigation as they had in mind they were going to remove all points and for the sake of the overall competition didn't want Essendon playing too many dead rubbers. However this could severely backfire if we reject the loss of points and draft picks. Even if it takes several months, fight them in court if our legals think the AFL don't have a decent case to burn us. Yes it may derail 2014 to an extent but if we are being unjustly dealt with it is worth fighting to avoid the greatest penalty in the history of the game which will be remembered and stick for a very long time regardless of the final wording of the charges and consequent punishment.

We have a problem with the HTB forum infecting, too many other forums.

I am sick of going onto other forums, and reading about the ASADA investigation.

As an example; I am reading the SEN thread, and some bright spark has posted pics of Robbo,Whatley, Connolly and Finey - It's a pity that Whatley doesn't appear on SEN.

It's blatant trolling as well as destroying the enjoyment of threads.

Who here are amongst the blind that are supporting the twitter messiah's? Be honest, show your faces.

NONE OF THEM HAVE INSIDE INFORMATION! Reading some of the support for them on twitter makes me sick. Everyone should be unfollowing them and calling them out for their lies. Pathetic.

Interesting

Tim Watson last night on Talking footy re-iterated that the AFL carefully stage managed for Essendon to lose points just before the finals - Last time he said that on SEN - he was whacked over the head by VLAD and the media.

Interestingly Mark Stevens tweeted exactly the same on Sunday ( with a hint of smugness ) - Will he get a whack from Vlad or the media.

I doubt it !
