That will not happen kfc1.

I'm more tying to indicate that all the talk surrounding 9th place and this and that is irrelevant.

I would also urge people to think about Bomber Thompson's statement at the end of his rant last night.. he said something to the effect of "this is too big to go back" after implying that "the truth has to come out".

Could be like saying... we aren't prepared to accept a compromised solution.. or a modified report.. or a convenient solution.. we want the whole truth (including tip offs/incorrect drug advice etc etc etc) to come out to exonerate the players, coaches and staff that have been put through this thing.

I believe that is at the heart of what has changed at EFC.. too many people now believe too much damage has been done to 'do a deal and walk away'.. they need/want and deserve full vindication.
Well said rines

We don't know the context. Hell we have heard one snippet.

I just don't think the club statement is an ironclad denial. It is denying something that was said yet the quote isn't even from hird. The club are denying something that hasn't even been alleged. It's giving the perception of an ironclad "this is wrong" when it hasn't really refuted anything that's been said.

Wander over to BB few on there have mentioned this line of thinking.
It doesn't matter what the context is. Whatever the context it can be misconstrued.

Black ops has 2 meanings - secret & potentially unlawful/outside legality.

Due to the second meaning, they knocked it off straight away.

Anything that has any negative connotations to it, they'll try and get rid of asap.

A black operation or black op is a covert operation by a government, a government agency, or a military organization. This can include activities by private companies or groups. A black operation typically involves activities that are highly clandestine and often outside of standard military/intelligence protocol, sometimes against the law.
yeah usually associated with military. Hasn't Weapon got some military background?

7.30 report revealing new (I think) text messages between Dank and Hird. Suggesting Pies, Hawks & WCE running a strong supplement program, though from what i can tell nothing illegal about it. A particular supplement mentioned (name escapes me) for injections that someone with more knowledge than me can probably identify the legal status of?

edit: To clarify new I meant hasn't been revealed before - i.e still from 2012 obviously

After 7:30...

I would not be surprised ASADA tear down the doors to WCE, Hawthorn and Collingwood. One part that will be conviniently overlooked "We must do everything within LEGAL means to improve" (something along those lines)

I've had this argument with people over and over and over again but sadly they don't see reason. They have allowed themselves to be convinced that no matter what Hird and co must go.
These same imbeciles claim that even in the event of innocence that the club still has to lose points and draft picks and everyone stand down because of bringing game into disrepute. When I ask them if they actually know what bringing the game into disrepute means not one can give a definitive answer.
I've said similar things - there has to be an underlying reason for bringing the game into disrepute. Breaking the law etc. If ASADA are at fault for not advising AOD9604 was prohibited then barring anything else being involved I don't see a case. And let's keep in mind Collingwood, west coast and Richmond have employed criminals such as Dane Swan (assault, Andrew Krakouer, Ben Cousins (insert crime) so if Dank is proven to have independently broken the law then I don't see this as different to other clubs where employees have broken the law.

That segment seemed entirely useless. Even the ABC is cashing in on this...
Yeah it was pretty bad, but got a laugh out of me with some of the texts like hird saying how much he hates Hawthorn and Dank replying back about Carlton "We'll beat those XXXXX"
