"The chances of a successful prosecution on AOD-9604 is very, very, VERY low" - Senior ASADA investigator, about 3 months ago.

If you want to believe the words of the HTB nuffies over him/her and panic, go ahead. I know which one to believe. There is a reason ASADA haven't acted on AOD, as professional information shows it is not a PED, despite Baker and McKenzie reporting on some document about an overseas gym owner who most likely has not researched the substance

Anyone got any ideas why Robinson would resign the day before doing the interview?

Could it be a way for the club to get the story out before ASADA. As the weap is no longer an employee? Or is it just the weapon finally got the right price for his time?

Anyone else noticed the media's change of tack? Now every article is "Essendon are facing claims of" blah blah. Rather than just stating the claims. Subtle change, but enough to avoid being called slanderous. They're scared.

I find it hilarious now the Herald Sun sport jst knows what we are thinking and that we know all articles about this saga in their paper is from Mark Robinson so they just refuse to put his name to the articles we see online.

Once again it is what the article writer believes is happening. What a joke. Yet again an article of I believe, I think. With no facts to back it up.

If they label them opinion pieces, they can't get sued

The paper can, not the article writer. If things in the article assume things and makes the club out to be bad when it's all lies they can still be sued.

With Essendon beefing up their lawyers and all that, you would think some 1 or some company will be sued over this.

Was Robinson bound by any sort of non-disclosure agreement while employed by Essendon?

Somehow I doubt Robinson is keen to do the club too many favours.

If Robinson actually kept his mouth shut the moment he was stood down, there may of been a chance he would be reinstated. Or the very least his reputation and credibility saved.

The snippets from his tell all interview reeks of emotion and of a victim. The only interviews he should have done were to ASADA and Ziggy. If he has nothing to hide, why didn't he speak to Ziggy? Happy to be interviewed by Darcy, but not Ziggy - disgraceful behavior, and a real lack of professionalism. I acknowledge he is being guided by his legal counsel, but it is about doing what is right, and respect towards your employer/management.

This is purely a legal move. Good luck to him, but after bringing it on himself, I predict more tears and pain for him.

Clearly the club sees him as Caro's source, and are going hard after him.

"We are informed by Californian gym owner that professional bodybuilders use AOD as a safe alternative to hGh to [reduce] . . . body fat."

Simple phrases taken out of context has been bad enough, but seeing the likes of the above, with a word actually inserted and then some others left out makes me just a tad suspicious.

Anyone else looking forward to season 2014?
apparently we wont be playing........

Whilst the age article is full of weasel words it's still a worry to me that documentation such as they claim could have been in club hands last year. If it was then heads have to roll.
