Salary cap facts the AFL would rather you didn’t know.

That line should have been what was splashed on the back page of the paper today instead of the $750k line.

From reading the headline and how it’s been spoken about on radio today as being an absolute fact, you would have thought Allison kept detailed file notes regarding dates, amounts and players involved with each payment he received. From reading the interview the $750k figure seemed to be a vague recollection and not naming the person who facilitated the payments made it even more laughable.

This week someone wheels Allison out just to remind everyone "Hey, remember Carlton cheated the salary cap 20 years ago!"

It's beginning to stink of a coordinated media campaign to slag us off and discredit us, as if we haven't fallen far enough.
Why, and what are they afraid of?

His anti-Carlton schtick used to be mainly just about firing up the listeners but I suspect that people are a bit more sophisticated about trolling no matter the platform.

That's why we have to be patient and wait until when we finally click as a premiership unit and watch them melt from our success. It can't come quick enough especially if we get it before * then watch all the sycophants of that scum bag cheating club who have some pull in the media sook it up when we are winning.
