It's not so much being aggressive, it's more about being annoyed with people starting threads based on nothing. This is one of them. Maybe BF has changed too much over the years, I don't know.

Am I the only one that finds it extremely humourous when people misspell the word "grammar" when they're being critical of someone else's grammar ?

More like the Michael Clark of BF. Hangs around for a while but no-one really cares that you're there.

For what it's worth I'm interested to watch Blease in action. Not expecting big things but just want to see him get a few touches and have some sort of impact on the game.

Sorry I just saw this thread now - don't come over very often.

Blease is going to be alright. Makes a lot of mental mistakes typical of kids growing into mature footballers. Tends to think too quickly rather than letting the game come to him. This is where his problems as a footballer come about. When he gets the pace of the game he's going to be a good outside midfielder for you.

Good to see his form over the past couple of weeks has earned him selection. Quite likely to be your sub tonight. Don't expect too much too soon.


The criticism is an unfair knock. We tend to rush these kids - if they're not the next Joel Selwood in terms of getting to elite status in their first or second year they're crucified. Even Carlton's Marc Murphy and Bryce Gibbs, as good as they have been for as young as they both are, have not escaped being crucified unfairly at times.

Blease can go. He will be fine. Enjoy him Dees.

I'd like to see him on a wing but, given he has taken Macdonald's place, he'll more likely come in at HB.

He may be the sub though, that is a possibility.

Hi guys,
Good to see a Bleasey thread as I wanted to say it's about time he got a game, I've been waiting to see him play again since the last time I saw him in the TAC cup against WA. Looked good, keen, quick and just seemed to maybe have that little X-factor that can lift a team. Hope he does well.
To all you guys on here bagging him, especially Melb supporters, at least give the guy a chance at AFL level. :confused:
I was hoping we may have snagged him in the 2nd round of the draft but was not to be.:(

Once again get of the bagging bandwagon, you few neg ones, and give the guy a few games at the highest level before passing judgement.

Good on him for getting a game, did some good things as soon as he got on. Good bit of desperation in gunning for the footy on the wing, and that kick to Silvia from half back / wing was awesome to see.

Hopefully he has many games to come, it's always weird seeing someone you played footy against on the TV!
