backline is good but i think blease would be good to add depth to the midfield and replace or rotate in for grigg, would also like to see if he can rest forward. Might be just me but i really rate Blease highly.

Nothing wrong with having an opinion or liking a player, i just have to see the value on how he will benefit the team. Defenders we have covered, but midfield is still an area that does require some depth, but like i previously posted, if my backline is remotely accurate, we pick up Houli and Lids through the middle, so that's just whai'm questioning. would he be an improvement on Edwards?

Melbourne seem to think that Morton for 3rd rounder and Blease is a laugh. They rate him very highly.

It's Melbourne supporters. They make Carlton supporters seem fair and reasonable.

honestly i think he would be a big improvement on edwards in the skills and speed area with maybe a little less courage.

cb17, if we were to try and snag Blease, I doubt it would be to play him on a HBF. If he gets his body right and stays on the park for a year, he'll be a bona fide mid.

first rounder or the compo, wouldn't mind he is one of the midfielders we need, able to burst packs with speed, could be scary for other teams with cotch, martino, foley and blease there with lids aswell.

Probably more chance of landing him if Scully hadn't left but now the Demons will be cashed up and desperate not to lose more players. It's been good to get some insight into this kid, but i think BST nailed it. Scully going free's up a mid position in Melbournes midfield. Still, trade week is gonna be interesting.
