• Won Frankston’s reserves B&F
• Won senior B&Fs at Corowa-Rutherglen, Chelsea and Wangaratta
• Played one year of NEAFL, finishing second in Aspley’s B&F
• Finished second in the league B&F in the Ovens & Murray FL

Sam Carpenter wasn’t far off playing AFL. He’s had one arm since he was four

His arm was chopped off after a gruesome childhood incident - 15 years later, he was playing VFL.

Watched him play a couple of times. He was a bonafide gun. Could find it in traffic, extract it and get it out to a teammate. Also a bloody good kick.
