thanks alot, b72 - I had a feeling I hadn't heard the lars term used for a while - wonder what input russell might have to his options if anyThey do what's called a hybrid now, synthetic ligament and hamstring tendon. Don't do the straight LARS anymore. I had one done a couple of years ago, was back jogging after eight weeks although they still recommend at least 9 months rehab.
Good for tradies etc who need to get back to work. With footy players its more about having that stability while the hammy ligament takes hold so you can start rehabing quicker, building muscle sooner etc.
