How are the tyres Powerstufff? She is part of the Cheer Squad and goes to banner making. Sammy's parents have 3 sons at Port (Tommy Gray played with the Maggies again today) so no surprise she is a Port fan.

Once that stupid Sub rule is finished at the end of the season(maybe?) I think Moore and young will come into their own by getting more game time. Not sitting on the pine for three quarters or being worried that you will be dragged.Yeah, the one thing you can't knock Moore for is not doing the team things. Unfortunately 'the team things' are pretty much the only thing he does.
Moore is gawn, trade or delist. Young's 2016 contract will probably save him, although his 13 disposal 0 goal game today won't do him any favours.
Hah! Yes and Sammy's dad Glen has set up his tyre fitting/mechanical repair business in Royal Park, Sammy's mother Leanne told us the details at banner-making last year. How are the tyres Powerstufff?
So how do you think that works? Getting rid of the sub rule won't mean 21 players on the ground. Or 22, I don't know how it affects numbers on that week's team list.Once that stupid Sub rule is finished at the end of the season(maybe?) What struck me about his game on Friday was how many blocks and shepherds he laid that turned into an attacking play for us.
Interesting note ...I for one thought he was too short and too slow to make it...
I should have remembered Greg Williams...2 old 2 slow 2 short...2 Brownlows.
Congrats to Sam Gray. Happy to be proved wrong he has really looked the goods over the last four weeks. Has overtaken Moore and possibly Young IMO.
Maybe it isn't that those boys don't want to do it but don't know how to do it as well as Sam.The difference between Gray and guys like Moore/Young is that Sam is prepared to do the unrewarded running and team things to facilitate his teammates clearing the ball easier instead of gravitating toward it hoping for a cheap stat. I didn't notice one time during the whole game when I thought he was asking for the ball in a poor position but rather made sure he was in a good one so that when he received the ball he did something good with it. And that fed into the confidence of his teammates in him to do the right thing.
And when he starts getting attention, he'll willingly sacrifice his game and still do that unrewarded running so the guys that are freed up (Ebert, Hartlett etc) have the space and time to operate and make good decisions. He doesn't need to be the flag on top of the mast all the time.
That's a team player. A Port Adelaide player.
I don't know where it came from but he appears a lot faster in the middle than at half forward for whatever reason.
Interesting note ...
Brent Harvey 172cm
Sam Gray 176cm
Harvey goes ok lol

This times a million.
He went from Jeremy Clayton to Lachie Neale overnight.
That's actually a really good comparison for the way he's played the last few weeks. He's nothing like Brent Harvey who everyone is comparing him to for some reason, but there's a lot of Lachie Neale about him, maybe even with a little more line-breaking run on the outside. If he can develop into half the player that Neale is, that's a big win for us for pick 29 in the rookie draft. Especially considering that he looked gone for all money 5 weeks ago.
