but I believe Mitchell is in the Top 20 players in the competition.

Mitchell is not in the top 20 in the league.

He is not even in the top 10 midfielders.

Who the **** is Harris?

"Clearance King" Mitchell ****s all over the entire North side, cut them up last week in their pathetic display.

And Judd?

Does he need to improve his evasiveness too?
Get it up to the level of Mitchell and Hodge so he can drop his contested possession numbers?

You'll find that players like Judd draw players to tackle, and as they are being tackled release a handball to advantage. If that is not the case, Judd uses his pace to burn away from a pack after receiving a handball from Kerr or Cousins. That's why these three work so well together as they are stars at both bursting away from packs and also moving the ball to a runner.

Mitchell is as good now as he will ever be. He is a great clearance player, but that's it, he wont get any quicker and will never be a devastatingly damaging midfielder in the mould of Judd or Cousins. For that reason you would have to think that Harris is going to be a better player - he is also a great clearnace player, he has pace and is well balanced in marking contests. Harris in the next few years will go on to be a very damaging midfielder and in my opinion one of the best in the league.

for all you blokes baggin out harro how about you pull the boots on and go have a one on one with him see how long ya last.......... he might not be the most talented player but he's dam good id rather an in and under player like him than a sheepdog like mitchell.

It's too early to tell.

There was very little between the pair at the end of 2007 before Harris's performance tapered off in 2008. If Harris were to have a blinder in 2009 he would go straight past Mitchell. Daniel is certainly the more effective player when TOG is factored in. The question is, can Daniel get on the park for longer periods of time?

Point 1. There was very little between the pair at the end of 2007 before Harris's performance tapered off in 2008. Point 2. Rubbish on every point.

Nope yep, if I can't beat a player then I can't discuss his weaknesses as a footballer. :thumbsu:

You my friend are a complete idiot.

Mitchell by a long way. He is a Premiership Captain and a role model for the club and at this point in time I believe a much more accomplished footballer.

hey mate dont come on here bein a terry tough nut buddy. i totally agree with wat hes just said i consider harro to be the hardest workin under rated player in the roo line up he might not have the same smooth moves as some of the show ponys in the league but wat he does well week in week out is the job at hand he's givin a role and he does that to the best of he's ability now im not sayin he tears it up every week and kills it because to be honest thats far from the truth but for the short amount of time he has on the ground from every one else he still does a lot and makes a big impact now i dont know how he didnt get the 3 brownlow votes against the hawks the second time they met this year but all i know is he killed that game he shat all over the hawks did he even poll 1 vote in that game? piss poor effort by the umpys if he didnt any way even tho this is prob the worst year hes had at the club he was still up there in leading handballs over all desposals and tackles and is ranked highly in the league for hard ball gets he also done well in the club b&f considerin hes lack of form this year

Now say it all in one breath.

I ended up voting for Harris. As his terrible grand final effort confirmed, Mitchell is slowing down. His fat arse is only going to get bigger and I can see Daniel streaking past him in the coming years.
