I've already mentioned a response to that same question, if people actually think that is what he is alluding to then you have the issues not him. its a damn game of football ( sport) not politics. I'm sorry, that's a very simplistic view. Andrew Gaff knocked an 18 year old's teeth out and he didn't get booed to the same level that Goodes did. Taylor Walker made a racial slur and he didn't get booed to the same level that Goodes did.

People just didn't enjoy listening to Goodes draw attention to the fact that Australia has a dark history when it comes to the treatment of Indigenous Australians.

The Haka is a war dance and challenge from the All Blacks to other international rugby teams, it's not a Welcome to Country it's the opposite

They don't do it at the drop of a hat either like the Welcome to Country, it's only reserved for test matches played by the All Blacks.

I can understand the Welcome to Country being done by the Wallabies or the Australian cricket team for other international teams.

I don't understand why the Welcome to Country needs to be done for domestic games like the AFL which are only witnessed by Australians.

Yep totally agree. It really pisses me off when people try to frame the 13 year old girl as the victim. The fact that she was only 13 doesn't make her slur any less reprehensible. If anything, Goodes did her a favour pointing her out because he potentially gave her the opportunity to grow the **** up.

Oh yes, good old Avi. The guy convicted of beating his wife with a paddle board. The guy who said if he wasn't Jewish himself, he'd hate Jews as well. The guy who cuts and edits his content heavily, so it aligns with what he wants, and twists what people say. The guy who has been parts of nationalists groups who have seen a few of their mates locked up for crimes, some of it perverted behavior towards minors, and he has defended some of those mates over the years. The guy who supported those who called for Andrews to be assassinated. And runs with many of the crazy conspiracy theories out there.

Of course the comments on there are going to support Newman. Its Avis page, he is a well known far right grifter. Seriously doubt normal people would be lurking around a far right page.
