Rozee is a gun. But I’m not sure he will ever reach Walsh’s level. Walsh just came 2nd in players MVP for the year behind Bont. That’s big.
Walsh will be like a Voss, Harvey type who knocks up 6-9 AA’s. If Rozee does that I will be surprised.

I agree. If it wasn't for Cornes, doubt such a comment would be made.

Rozee is a gun and will be his whole career. Give him a run at it and he could be AA and could become regular AA.

Obviously I would not swap Walsh for anyone in the entire league, but Rozee will forge his own outstanding career.

Cornes did Rozee no favours with his stupid comments though. Rozee has the potential to be a top player, and a regular AA level performer, but Cornes' views put unwarranted pressure and an unnecessary spotlight on a young developing player.

Rozee will end up the better player in my opinion. Walsh is a jet and will put up ridiculous numbers every year (like Dayne Beams) but Rozee will turn out to be a better match winner.

Rozee's talent is one of those football myths that many fans mindlessly accept because it's been droned into them by lazy TV commentators.

Either way Cornes has created a situation where some Carlton supporters are hoping the kid fails.

It's a shame.

But Walsh is a lot better.

If I want touches in the midfield I'd pick Walsh every day. If I want goals I pick Rozee
