Adams
Elliott
Swan
Ramsay
Goldsack
Scharenberg
Thomas
and Keeffe
out on the ground. :drunk:

Is there a broken record. Every club has an injury list Bucksboys.
It's just the facts Maltsgirls (am I doing it right?) you can't dispute a single name on that list and it's longer than your arm and well documented to be the worst in the league having played the most players and therefore the list with least continuity, to overlook this is to argue without logic.

It's funny that the word 'excuse' has developed such a negative connotation. Rather than being a 'reason' it's as if you have an excuse you are somehow dodging responsibility. Losses are frustrating and massively disappointing but it's delusional to think that we can keep bringing in second best 22 players to fill the roles of best 22 players and expect that they'll perform as well. There's a reason that these players are second 22, usually to do with experience, skill and consistency. No matter how schooled they are in their role their performance will fall away and therefore the structures and game strategy - you just have to keep working on the difficulties. Choose to decry the use of 'excuse' if you like but the reality doesn't stop being the reality just because you say it isn't so.

"Just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean that they're not out to get you."

Having said that, I don't propose just throwing our hands in the air and saying 'well don't look any further, it's all down to injuries' but they can't be simply dismissed either.

Peope are overshooting on both sides of this argument though. Injuries do have an effect, by the same token not everyone that gets injured is a dead set champion either.

We do have some players out that would impact our performance and are walk up best 22, others though are in the mix and wouldn't be guaranteed a spot either.

Well if its not hard, name them.
When did I become your secretary? You can't look at a side and put better players in for yourself? Anyway it's far more about a core 30 rather than 22 because hoping to go through any year unscathed these days is sheer folly and if injuries take a dozen of those 30 you won't get any structure or continuity.

What a joke. We be giving up much much much much much more if we were directly trading those players. You've over rated them for a start. I could go on but it's like trying to make sense with a Bafoon.
I could say the same. whoever said we were trading players. I'm comparing the players respective values to the corresponding clubs. Swan for us is what Roughead is to hawks. Elliott for us is what Bruest is for hawks.

you've made the claim, I just asked you to demonstrate how all are best 22, and now you move the posts to best 30.

Who said best 22? I listed our injuries and if you don't think that's a significant reason why we aren't dismantling teams like we did to Geelong every week then me writing a team out for you won't help at all.

So who are the 12 guys that come out of the side to make way for all those guys?
Out
Crocker
Goodyear
Sincliar
Maynard
Smith
Oxley
Frost
Blair
Toovey

In
Swan
Elliott
Fasolo
Moore
Broomhead
Sharanberg
Adams
Keefe
Thomas
Ramsay

Greeenwood / white are fringe and when in form are best 22. but out of form lucky best 30. problem is when you can't bring players in like now then we have no choice

Roughead is worth much more than Swan in his final year of footy. You are just so wrong about what we have missing. It's not an excuse to lose the way we have been.

We played Sydney with most of those available in round 1 and got smashed. In which world do you live where every team plays their best 22 anyway?

You mean when that fat slob posted pictures of our players with their heads cut off and made us the face of drugs in the AFL when we weren't even the worst club and he had the number wrong. Players have admitted they were affected by all the questions from friends and family, besides we are a young list and it's going to be up and down until we mature, I don't understand your investment in the club being hopeless?

both players are top 10 to their respective clubs it's irrelevant which one of those two is better then the other.

The players we have had available this year are better than the shite they are producing most weeks.
Our list was fine up until the dogs game mainly. No excuses.

Yes and no. as the old saying goes sometimes it's the straw the breaks the camels back. we were probably at a knifes edge in the dogs game. but then losing Adams, Fasolo and Moore tipped us over, you still need a strong core. I'm as pissed off and gutted as the next but at some point it's breaking point, we may have different opinions on what that breaking point is. side step here for a second. at what point would you concede that injuries take their toll. if you put to paper our Best 22. how many of those go out before you concede ? whilst players 16-22 are replaceable with depth top 16 in my opinion are not. and for the most part in my opinion those are the ones we are missing.
