i dont see sampi adding too much to the dockers... i think theres a greater possibility that with his crappy attitude, work ethic that he could be a distraction...

bring back winston abraham!!

none of the players mentioned in this thread are worth even looking at. use the pick to get a kid in the draft. we dont need any more dud, undisciplined players

What could be possiblely loose?

A spot on the list. We'd have to de-list Webster to free up a spot to take Sampi in the PSD. I'm not a Webster fan, but he offers more than Sampi in 2008.

If Sampi is de-listed by West Coast, then kicks 50-60 goals for South, he stilll won't go in the first 2 rounds of the 2008 draft. Assuming he is de-listed, which he might not be, let Sampi prove that he is desperate to play at Souths. If he shows the necessary commitment in 2008 take him with our third round pick in 13 months time.

Don't you think that if football was his first priority he would have finished the year in the wafl?

Webster is a backup to M Carr who IMHO will be struggling to hold his spot as it is next season.

Sampi has the speed and skills to play a role in the midfield we desperately need, I am not saying he is a sure thing

He's worth a punt, the guy has lost his hunger to play agreed. But players of his ability imho are always worth a second chance.

Sampi's availability will rest solely on the Judd trade. If West Coast end up with players for Judd. They may be forced into delisting Sampi to fit everyone on the list.

Also Morton may look to be traded. Which would give them even more room. So it looks like he's staying.

I think the shock retirement of Rowan Jones and movement of Chris Judd has made the club reassess its position regarding Sampi. Particularly with us sniffing around.

It would look terrible for West Coast if we could turn Sampi into a player.

I can't see Andy Krakour getting a game for us.

And, sadly, for all his talents, Sampi is a head case. He's just way too big a risk for us given we needs spots for midfielders/utlity players.
