With all the hype on young Mitchell Morton joining us 2005, and I'm really looking forward to that after all I've read on the kid, I've come to remember several posts on this forum last year on Sampi junior. Ashley Sampi's younger brother is supposed to be a more highly skilled player than Ash, according to his father, if comparing their development at the same age. I was expecting him to come down and, maybe, play colts with South Fremantle in 2004, but I haven't heard anything more about him.
Does anyone know any more on this? What has happened to the kid?

i searched steven sampi on google, from what I found it looks like he's ash's cousin. is he another player or is this who we're talking about?

i've heard of Steven Sampi and was wondering if he was Samp's brother. I guess the if he's Ash's cousin then we're talking about someone else.

I vaguely remember hearing his brothers name was Dwayne but I'm pretty sure he has more than 1 younger brother anyway.

is this kid 15 or 16 at the moment - if so i've played against him and yeh he's good!!! and i dont mean just compared to the other year tens running around!!! I recon he could play AFL now and not look too bad!

Ashley has only one brother and his name is Dwayne. He's a fantastic kid but not even close to any comparisons to his brother in regards to football. He plays at Trinity and will come to SF next year for Colts.
He has a cousin who is playing development footy for West Perth and his name is Joshua Hill. He will be playing Schoolboys this week.

yeh ash's brother is on a scholarship at trinity. i dont want to sound crude but he is quite a 'big' boy and i dont mean height wise.
