One of the clubs all time greats, arguably number 2. My 2nd favourite all time player. The bloke made some games win or lose scenario's. The best ruck i've ever seen personally (either him or Cox).

Absolute legend. I reckon he was underrated (or taken for granted) as well. Through his career there often seemed to be a few rucks that were talked up as the best in the business, yet they could never actually beat Sandilands when he was fit and able.

So much this. If Sandi was paid even just half the frees he should have got he’d have an extra 200 or so goals to his name and about 1000 more marks. Criminal his treatment by the umps.

Just like Oav, absolute champion. On and off the field. He actually played 270 games, a rarity as a ruck man and even for his height.

A lot of champs retire and their club misses them for what they were , it's a tribute that if the last weeks have shown anything it's that we are going to miss him for what he can still offer even now

Sadly I'm just that little less interested in Freo than I was yesterday

Sandi’s final home game and SonSon’s 150th. Huge game, a massive crowd should come for sure

Add to that his commitment to the club and a great person as well and we should give him an almighty send off this weekend.
