So far, so good.

He's answered everything that needs to be answered.

I thoroughly enjoyed these comments

"There are some seriously talented South Australian free agents in this years Free Agency selections"

"we will try claw our way back up the early numbers of this draft.."

"Burgess and I are good mates, and we did try to get him to the AFC... obviously port just worked harder to get him then us"

He highlighted d-mac and others being extremely out of form etc

Thommo not being mentioned as either in form or out of form was interesting.
Definitely not in the group he was happy with as that was only danger, sloane and dougie.
Trade bait for early draft picks obviously ;)

Also sounds like stiffys joints could not recover from training mid week to play on weekends. So wasn't able to train at afl level let alone play. But can slut from the goal square at sanfl level.

Vb was first mentioned in the group of mids who are not delivering consistently.

I came in part way through but didn't hear about selections.

Spoke really well. Very open and honest.

Almost wonder if his resilience holds back an edge of hardness.

Thommo is clearly injured - club knows this.

Still a very important player to us, but would not be out of the question to trade him if there was a really good deal on the table, say with GWS looking for some quality experienced players. Forget #1 pick though!

Roo was a pussy in that interview.....

HATED that he felt, on reflection, that they didnt go hard enough in pre-season. This is a professional football club ffs.

Interesting that Bailey is Campo's right hand man when it comes to rotations and match-ups in the midfield. I am not a Campo fan and I fele this just vindicates my view. Without Bailey, Campo is shit.

These two factors alone have been reflected in our performances this year.

But without Campo...who is going to get Bailey his drinks?

Is interesting though as our midfield definitely isn't the same this year...

Nah, Thommo would be worth their 2nd and 3rd surely without needing the exchange.

So basically,

Thommo - Pick 19 and 37
Pick 19 and Dmac to any of the average performing Vic clubs and BAM!! we're in the first round!

......too early???

Nope and neither was anything on Grigg or Lyons.

Found it to be quite disappointing interview to be honest.

South Australian media is useless unfortunately, no one bothers to do proper research and certainly no one has the kahunas to actually conduct a searching interview. They might as well be broadcasting a civil chat over coffee at Henley Beach. Its all about pumping up each others tyres...

Didak - body looks shot, Callinan is better anyway
Enright - surely wouldn't leave Geelong at this stage
Stokes - would be a nice get. Breaks lines and kicks goals. Slight query over his finals record but would add some much needed pace.
Davey - very gettable especially with the Bailey link. With Johncock and probably Callinan leaving, he could fill a need for us. Risky though given his form this year.
Kornes - doubt he'd leave Port
Ebert - nah, his body is shot. Wouldn't leave Port anyway.
Cooney - do we need him when we've got Crouch coming through?

I will set fire to myself if we consider either Matt Thomas or Tom Logan.

How would you know if Camporeale was any good or not? You've probably just made up your mind that you don't like him and you're sticking to that.

Danger, Sloane & Crouch all specifically credit Campo with their development. What basis?

In fairness Sando actually said next year not this year.

Thank **** for that, as apart from Stokes, DO NOT WANT! I'll still be disappointed if we don't make a big play for Thomas, or see if we can get Sylvia on a reasonable salary.

I'm a big fan of this. Thommos not going to be a 1 club player and as good as he has been, he probably won't play in a flag with us. Could be one of those 'win:win' trades that we don't seem to be a part of. If he wants to spend the rest of his life in Adelaide, then 3 years at a flag threat on good coin shouldn't ruin that.

Now rutten on the other hand deserves the opportunity to finish with us. But if he got an offer from a contender next year that he wanted to pursue, then maric like, we should encourage that. If he wants to stay, then he has earnt that (price notwithstanding) and should be selected for as long as his form warrants it.

Thommo's already not a one club player...
