Maybe Bone should put his hat into the ring...he's done more coaching than Roo...North Adelaide were top three all the time he was coach...oh sorry bottom 3 after making finals in first year as coach....
Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!!!

I'm still trying to pretend Bone never coached us. Worst coach I've ever seen.

How hypocritical the AFL world can be, here is an article where Port are bashed from pillar to post.

The point I am making is that most clubs are attacked for their decisions. We are no different.

thing I find funny is I cant remember the media being too complimentary of sandos coaching this year. commentators pointed it out during the game. media questioned selections. hell the media made fun of some of his press conferences....now its like we shot bambi
I heard more than one media analyst suggest he would start the year as the coach most 'under the pump'. now they're all shocked.

except Dwayne Russell!!!! I mean WTF is going on!?

I didnt watch or follow the last three months of footy, but to me he lost games on Thursday night at the selection table and on gameday in the box.

Its been laughable his selections for games and keeping Campo and Bick backfired big time.

He did give our Club some wonderful wins and some frustrating losses, I dont remember being humiliated by our losses.

ill give him credit for sure. we were rarely thumped as you say and were competitive in 90% of our games I reckon.
On the bright side for him he'll get a better job the way its played out, and the way the media has chosen to frame it, then he likely would have. my prediction is he would of gotten fired sometime this upcoming season and it wouldn't have looked pretty for him at all. I wouldn't be surprised if he even landed another head coaching gig. first coach to get fired this year and sando will get mentioned unless he's not already working somewhere.

I also felt in my gut that he would have been sacked mid season. Thats my honest belief too so the fact it has come now allows us time to start 2015 in a massive way.

I hope the coach that comes here starts his preparations from the day he is announced to get the ball rolling.

Healthy list with some good recruits via FA and using pick 9 on an outside mid would be awesome.

If the dickheads Trigg and Chapman didn't give him a baseless extension, it wouldn't have been an issue.
All because they wanted some stability & felt sorry for Sando because of tippett-gate. How much Triggy has cost this club...

Chapman has gone on record that Sando honest self assessment was the trigger for the extension

FFS performance should be the only trigger for a contract extension

If you really think about it, its a shit decision by them giving the extension.
The club has been littered with shit decisions over the past 2 years or so

Tippett contract
Not trading Tippett 12 months earlier
Not sacking Trigg
Radar contract
Not replacing Dean Bailey
DMac contract

Just to name a few

Smart for all his Flaws working in club management is a playing legend of the club and his exit will be well managed
I'd expect nothing less. Professionalism is what I expect now form the club, on its appointments and dismissals. People, who perform.

After watching a few clips of chapman and ricciuto over the past few days I think it's finally dawned on me that Brenton Sanderson was not a strong leader, and his player management and people management was not actually all that good. It makes me sad to say because I always held his character in high regard, but the message coming from the club is he isn't all that he made himself out to be.

My personal unqualified opinion is that he's the type of guy who can build very strong 1 on 1 relationships, but under the pressure of coaching 40 players he's a bit out of his depth. I'm actually starting to think that within the club he isn't really mr.nice guy. The way the club and Sando have distanced themselves from each other is in stark contrast to the departure of Craig (who was clearly still loved by all).

One game against Geelong last year (who blew two chances in the dying minutes to win it) and against North Melbourne and Port Adelaide this year. Adelaide have won 3 games against top 8 sides in the past 2 years. Isn't that all that's to be said? 56% winning percentage or not, that's a terrible record for a team that's supposed to be a finals threat. Surely some media people could see that?

Correct. There's a name on the players jumper's left breast about whom I'm referring to. I went to a very big function last evening and the word getting around is that the club has been advised and Ill use the words I heard, "stop becoming amateur hour".

Apparently they have been put in no mind that after the current contract runs out, so does the money if things don't improve.
That would be an epic failure if Toyota pull out after being our major sponsor since inception.
