After watching a few clips of chapman and ricciuto over the past few days I think it's finally dawned on me that Brenton Sanderson was not a strong leader, and his player management and people management was not actually all that good. It makes me sad to say because I always held his character in high regard, but the message coming from the club is he isn't all that he made himself out to be.
My personal unqualified opinion is that he's the type of guy who can build very strong 1 on 1 relationships, but under the pressure of coaching 40 players he's a bit out of his depth. I'm actually starting to think that within the club he isn't really mr.nice guy. The way the club and Sando have distanced themselves from each other is in stark contrast to the departure of Craig (who was clearly still loved by all).
