I still feel sorry for him. He was put in an absolute shit position by the Club. In 2012, we were flying. A kick away from a Grand Final. Lost his full forward and got no replacement. Lost the next two x 2 draft picks (although we won't be feeling that yet). Having said that, it became increasingly apparent, that without Bailey, Sando wasn't quite there as a senior coach. In 2013, we lose Bailey - through no fault of our own - for three quarters of the season. Sando struggled then. In late 2013 we find out that Bails is fighting for his life and he passes away before the 2014 season commences. Sando struggled again this season. The one common denominator? No Bails. Now to be hearing that he had lost the respect of the players... the Club absolutely made the right move. I just hope, though, that the players also critically assess their own part in this season. It wasn't all Sando's fault.
