What's Bate doing playing for the 2nd reserves?

Bate was injured last week and Rivers took his spot in the Seniors.

He might miss next week after a nasty bust up which he was reported for a retaliation kick on his opponent. Something happened off the ball that got Bate extremely angry and he had to be physically restrained by his team mates to stop him from doing something stupid. After he was let go he headed straight to his target and kicked him in a pretty harmless way, but was right in front of the umpire which saw a report. He then proceeded to argue with the ump that reported him for a minute while the Sandy runner was trying to get him off. I didn't see what happened to him but he was an extremely angry young man.

Bate is usually a very restrained player and the Scorpions were frustrated and started to do some very nasty things. The bad luck was that the Tic Tac's in orange seemed to be not wearing any glasses and see some of the provacation that the Scorpian players were giving. To Bate's credit he came back on and played only the ball and not the man. Not like some of the Scorpion players who continunly trying to start a fight.
