not full match report or anything but just letting you guys know they had a good win over essendon.
interesting to see Ricky White (jeff's brother) rucking for essendon, and according to the rumours, hoping to be picked up by the dons at seasons end.
i'll get back to you with the best melb players on the day.

best - Templeton, Arma, Williams, Mcdonald, Godfrey, Ainley, Oakley
Arma got more then 30 possesions
BOG: Templeton, 7 goals in first half and shocking kicking in second half! typical him... :( but a better game then usual from him imo

Wouldn't surprise me if they brought him in this week, I thin kwe really need him in the side as he is becoming a damn good player for us.

ya think?? i think they might hold off till the blues match so that he doesnt have to travel... at the same time that could be ****, coz if he's fit enough to play, he should be fit enough to travel.

right :D go the sandy boys!!
yeah.. well Wheatly wasn't in the record, that was probably why.. I don't usually remember their names, only their numbers so that'd be why I left him off the list.
Temps really needs to work on his accuracy.. lol

Can you tell us a bit about Templeton Danzy? Would he be worth putting on our list at all?

Probably not. He's turning 26 in November, might be abit late for him to start with AFL. But he's been playing very well when he feels like it for Sandy, often better then most of the Melbourne listed players, but maybe that's just because he's more used to the club and the level of play. But if you do ever get him, you gotta be prepared for his bad games. It's really hard watching such a great player play so badly, he sometimes has shocking accuracy, (last week he kicked 7 goals in the first half, second half only points) and often can't seem to get his hands attacted to the ball and the saddest thing is he often gives up too soon. If he knows that he can win the ball then he'll win it.. but if he thinks he can't he won't even try.
I don't know if he'd want to leave Sandy. I mean he's got his mates there, a career which he might have to give up if he played AFL, and family responsibilities etc.
If you were intrested in him, get him soon before he runs out of gas.

Fair enough. I was interested about him seeing as we need a true goalkicking forward, and the likes of Wilson and Saunders have done well coming from those sort of leagues (yes, Wilson in Perth, but same thing) and we might try something like that.

26 is not TOO bad, and he may lift his game if he were give then oppurtunity at AFL level. Then again, he may not. But thanks for the info, much appreciated! :)

No problem! If he wants to play well he will play well.
