However Tony Hannan played only 40 games but was a member of 3 premiership sides ! 77 79 80.

Went to North for 1982 season.

At the end of 1980 we lost Mark Williams and Milan Faletic to the VFL.
Bruce Abernethy was only a teenager and North Melbourne offered him big money and a Ferrari. I stand corrected he may have left the following year.

Abba went to North Melbourne in 1982. He played 82-83 at North before transferring to Collingwood for 3 seasons. Tony Hannan was teaching in Whyalla and Jack got him back for the finals one maybe two of those years. Geof Motley and Chicken Hayes both played in 7 Grand Finals in their first 7 seasons and won 6 of them. Not sure that has been done before or since.

Is Jack Hayes better than Ladhams

As I watched Jack Hayes I kept asking myself, is this guy any better than Brett Eddy? Great at SANFL level but is he up to AFL standard?

Following the State Captaincy and Jack Oatey Medal I would not be surprised if Hayes got a spot on someone's rookie list but there is no comparison with Ladhams. Peter Ladhams is 202cm while Hayes is 192cm, Ladhams can play in the ruck whereas Hayes is basically a forward.

So Glenelg lost twice as many games during Finals than during the Minor Round.

That's quite an accomplishment!
